You're going to make things WORSE if you breed him. Either have him neutered or get use to this behavior. I agree that punishing him is unkind and unfair to him.

You are right I am really nervous! But I know its for the best! I will come here for support and post surgery tips too...
I beleive he is getting it done January 13th or 14th...waiting on confirmation from my boss for a couple of days off...I want to make sure I am home to take care of him and make sure his recuperation is successful

At what age should a stud stop being bred? And do you think a neutered former stud could be a good pet for someone who has no experience with such dogs?

He is going to do great and you will ALL be much more happy and at peace.
