|  Hi, and welcome to YT. How exciting to have a new pup, I love puppy breath. Most yorkie puppies look like they're going "bald" or have a lighter hair coloring on their heads when they're young. At 10 weeks he has grown quite a bit and his puppy hair may be beginning look a little thinner. It's normal and he'll be loosing some of his baby hair. When you comb him you may notice alot of short hairs coming out. That's ok. His big boy hair is starting to come in. My Rocky didn't get his gold/bl coloring until he was 2 & his mom is tan/silver.

| No Longer a Member | Rizzo still has a lot of white on top of his head, but his body is blue, and he does have a very pale gold on his legs and parts of his face. I suspect he isn't done changing, but even if he is I still think he is adorable  |

| When we first got Silver she only had a little silver on her toes, but now her whole head is turning silver and her body looks like it's starting to turn silver also. Her dad was silver and her mom was black/gold.

| Welcome to YT! He is so adorable!!! I know Bailey had a lot a white on his head too, but in time it changed. Check out my avatar... you will see.

| My little Annie's color is starting to break now -- silvery hair cropping up on the top of her head. That is a good sign, usually means a nice silky coat! I know of no other dog breed that goes through such a metamorphisis as the Yorkie! They are a constant surprise!
