Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Most Inexplicable Nickname for your Yorkie(s)? I know this is about the millionth thread regarding Nicknames...but I can't help it, those are some of my favorite threads . For this one, I was wondering what the ONE most inexplicable nickname is for each of your furs (rather than listing all of their various nicknames, which we've done a lot....but I love it every time). And if you want, explain how the nickname arrived at the inexplicability.... My kiddos (real name, and then inexplicable nickname): Wylie: Floopindigenous (evolved from his being cute/floppy/sleepy when he was a puppy....so then he was Floopy, then The Floop, and then...for no reason whatsoever, he also became Floopindigenous...and we don't even know what that means, at the time of this writing) Marcel: Boxie (this nickname started out as Punkin', then Punka, then Pakka, then Bakka, and now Boxie....he actually will answer to the name Boxie...as well as his 40 other nicknames ) Pfeiffer: StinkyWinky (this came from when we snuggle her up and kiss her, and we say "Youz smell so GOODZ" and then "Youz are such a yummy stinky!" and then "You're our little StinkyWinky!" -- bc she really DOES smell SO good. I think she stashes perfume samples around the place.) Your turn!

| Kaji AKA Mono. Mono is spanish can mean little monkey, which he can sound like when he's super excited, or stuffed animal. My dad swears Kaji isn't a dog. He's the most adorable cuddly stuffed animal in the world. Kaji will just sit in his bed and not move an inch all day. (knowing my dad, that's a HUGE stretch of the truth) Kaji then magically comes to life when I'm home.

| TOBY - Toby Doby (I gave that to him just because it rhymes). My husband calls him Mr. Dobo or Tobo (have no idea why.) MIKO - Speedy (we haven't called her Miko for years. She is so fast we have always called her Speedy, Speedo, Speed Demon.) Toby responds to all those names as does Speedy responds to all her names. Toby was already named when we got him from his foster mom last year and since he was 3 1/2 years old we didn't feel we should change his name.

| Betty Boop - Of course, there are many nicknames. Lately, though, I've come up with a new one. SCRAPPY! (and I call her that with love) I call her this because she is a rough and tough little girl when she plays. When we play with her squeaky toy, she rides my arm and grabs it with her front paws and won't let go. Guess she thinks it's a broncho bull-riding contest! She's like super glue! She gets pretty rough sometimes for a 5 lb. dog.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | ohhh....I love nickname threads! Ruby...is "Tiny Sweet"....lol...not too original but, she is *tiny* and so sweet! Reno...is "Sarge"... just because he acts like the family policeman, keeping everyone in-line. Razz....is our "Wild Parti Boy"...if you saw the video I posted earlier in the GE section you know instantly why he got this name. I have to add Razz's second nickname (sorry tried to keep it to just one)....dh calls Razz - Arlis, after the mischievous younger brother in the book Old Yeller.

| It's amazing how we have so many nick-names and they answer to them all. I only have one that's inexplicable, though, and that's Archie, who's somehow come to be known as Alphonse. I can't explain it.....and I guess if I could it would lose its inexplicable-ness .

I call Teddy my "lil' stinkpot" or my "sweet stinky puppy" for 2 reasons. He is such an angel with an impish streak, and he reminds me of how a baby smells -- really good, but sort of stinky at the same time. I swear he knows I'm teasing him and he likes it. | |

| Hot Rod in itself is a strange name, lol, but I tend to call him my Hottie Roddy or Hot Roddy. Hubby hates it but it Hot Rod responds to it. Maggie May somehow got/is getting stuck with "Maggot" Of course said in the most affectionate way. She just needs to be attached to you at all times.
