Eddie's got the only inexplicable one: EDAMAME, like the soy bean. I think it started out as me teasing him for being a mama's boy. Eddie Mommy. Then Eddie Mama. And finally the soy bean spelling.

Ivy- Hubby calls her gumby because she had to have so many teeth removed. I call her Ivy Devy.


Max- Is just called Max


Reggie- Is called lug nut. My son will say that "lug nuts have a purpose Reggie doesn't" but he loves Reggie.

Levi's most inexplicable nickname is probably Bittles. I've always called him my Little Man, which changed into Little Bit, to Bit, to Bit-Bit, to Bitty, to Bittles.

Other nicknames include Hairy, Hairy Monster, and a whole stash of "Levi" related nicknames: Levite, Leviathon, Leviticus, Leeve, Schleeve, Schlevite, Little Levi, Yittle Yevi, Little Levi Lee...

I have a Tinkerbell too and I quite despise it she picked her name out when I got her, it was the only name she responded to so I call her Tinkerton or Tinkietoodles and my fiancee calls her scruffleufagus (no clue how to spell it)

Probably the weirdest nickname is little squirty, and I have no idea where it came from but I catch myself saying it.
