Help! Wanting a second dog, which breed?!

I agree with a lot of you, my top pick would be another yorkie... maybe I'll just save up all next year and Sasha a little yorkie brother lol! I do know that it would have to be a puppy, whichever breed I decide on. I found a stray in my neighborhood and took her in for the night (thankfully the owner was going door to door and found her!) and my Sasha went nuts! I don't know if it's because the dog was another female (not sure what her breed was, maybe a small 'Lady' from Lady and the Tramp?) or the fact that it was just another dog in the house, but she wouldn't stop barking for hours! I had to keep Sasha downstairs while I had the stray upstairs in my room with me. I would love to adopt from a shelter, but that's out of the question I'm afraid, with the way Sasha acted!

That was probably just because they were separated. Had they been able to meet face to face, I'm sure the barking would have stopped. Jackson is absolutely fine with dogs in his house, and every dog he ever meets, but if there was a dog locked in his mommy's bedroom with me that he could hear/smell, etc, but couldn't get to... he'd be whiny/barky too trying to get to him. I wouldn't write off rescue simply because of that.

Rescues sometimes get in entire litters of puppies, including yorkies. Keep an eye out!

I would love to have another Yorkie but our little rescued mutt has already stole the other half of my heart.

Get a Maltese or a Morkie I have Morkies and they are sooo sweet. Also I'd get a boy is you already have a girl. Keep us updated
