We've had Jenna since April this year, and there's very few places I can go that she won't be wearing my skin. Unless she's not feeling well, then she tends to stay put and I have to go to her. This doesn't happen much, but in the last week while her tummy's been upset, she's just waited for me to return to her more often.
I haven't had her 'go missing' yet really, but she does like to bury herself in the blankets on the bed, so I have to be very careful that I'm not sitting on a snuggled Yorkie instead of a pillow plenty of times.
The cat did try it though, she got a big surprise.

I wonder why they are attached to an invisible umbilical in the house, but when you go outside with them, you have to be sure you've got that lead fastened well so they don't bolt off into the ethers?

Poor thing! LOL.

I did that to one of my cousin's cats one time. He followed me into the laundry room late one night and I didn't realize he came in there after me. I turned off the light, shut the door, and went back upstairs. My cousin came home a few hours later and found him crying in the laundry room. I felt so bad.
