She's going to give me gray hair..... I'm getting all my christmas stuff from the basement to finish decorating. And of course my little "shadow" follows me where ever I go.. Well I didn't see her so when I came up stairs I didn't think anything about it... 15-20 mins go and the other dogs start barking at the Cat. Now when this happens Izzy ALWAYS is right there trying to act big and bad to the cat.. Like she has back-up or something..lol Well she wasn't there... then i heard this bark from the basement. I look and all the lights where off down there ans as so i opened the door she came running up the stairs. Her little heart was beating so hard.. I felt so bad.. Poor thing. Now shes sitting at my feet like always :) |
That's so funny!:D Not the gray hair; the yorkie!:D |
Aw poor baby. I've done that!! |
Awe.... She is a hot ticket! |
Aww poor girl :p They definitely know how to scare you! |
Bless her heart. I know how easily that can happen though. I've closed Sarge up a couple of times by mistake, when he's come into the bedroom and gone under the bed. Fortunately, it's close to the den so I hear him scratching to get out before he has to spend too much time in there.:) Cathy |
When Kacee was a puppy, she'd go into my closet and go to sleep while I had it open. You know the rest of the story. I'd miss her and couldn't find her and then I'd hear her crying to get out and couldn't tell where she was for awhile.:D |
LOL! I shut Rhia on the front porch once. I was out there hanging garland over the door and of course she had to follow. I went back inside and panicked after 20 minutes, but I went to open the door and there she was. They forgive you for anything! :P |
aww poor baby! im sure she forgives you ;) |
If she was alittle smarter.. she would have just come through the cat door that the cat does.. But I have trained her not to go through the door..lol.. Poor little baby she was just being obedient... She has not left my side at all... i even went back down and called her but she would not come..lolol |

Awww...the poor thing....this has happened to Trixie too. |
Aw poor Izzy, she will learn not to get left behind or use the cat door. This summer I was walking back from our community pool which is about a block away and I hear Sophie Kate barking - I thought to myself "wow she is so smart she can tell its me without seeing me" then all of a sudden I got a sinking feeling since I remembered shutting the house up and turning on the A/C - well I left her outside on the patio. Thank goodness it was for only about an hour and I think she probably slept the entire time. |
Poor dogs! That happens in every dogs! So be careful. :D |
Tab has a bell on her. The first few days we kept checking under things when she wasn't right there. She was so small! She's bigger now but still likes to explore. She's decided the cat's more fun to shadow than to chase. The cat has a habit of hunting for bugs on the screened back porch and there's places to hide out there. Now I have to watch both of them. |
