| Thanksgiving meal What is on your yorkies menu for Thanksgiving? I want to make Chase and Calvin a special meal. I was thinking some turkey, sweet potato, and green beans. Maybe some yogurt for dessert? I need some ideas |

| White meat turkey, no skin, is fine to give. I think sweet potatoes would be fine as long as no sugar or marshmallows are added. Green beans and yoqurt are both good for them

| We did thanksgiving two days ago. I gave the yorkies some white meat from the turkey and some sweet potatoe mixed in with their kibble. I had to boil the sweet potatoes before I made the casserole, so I just mashed some plain, boiled sweet potatoe. The loved it! |

| I think it's the turkey skin that you have to watch out for. I know last Christmas my aunt gave Jackson too much skin from the ham (I didn't know she was doing this) and he puked it right back up. I never thought about it-- I guess I should make Jackson his own plate too!

| I picked up some organic frozen sweet potato cubes, and some organic yogurt yesterday. We already have green beans. I didn't have any luck finding turkey at the healthy store yesterday, so I'll try at the grocery store today or tomorrow. We are going to my grandma's for thanksgiving, so I will have to make them their meal when we get home. Is it bad that I am not cooking for us, but just the dogs |
