| Mine don't bark at the phone itself, but they do get rowdy when I am on it. I wonder if they think I am talking to them. After all, why would I be talking to that phone-thing? They can't see anyone else, so I have to think they believe I am talking to them & that is why they get so excited. They don't know if I am wanting to play, directing them to do something they don't understand or maybe even creating a treat experience. But they do get excited, jump around on me and go half crazy before I can finisha conversation.

| i used to have the same trouble when the phone rang, door bell, or just when i opened the door to let them out it was getting to the point that i was allways yelling at them to be quiet. we tryed every thing barking collars, the sonic barker the water spray in the face nothing worked .we have 4 adult yorkies and a new pup........ so i remembered that when we went to puppy class years ago that the sound of rocks in a can was something they did not like so i took 5 coke cola cans got some screws put 5 or 6 in each can and put wide sticky tape on top .i placed a can in all the spots that they barked in ,wow instant results i was holding a can all the time at frist and now it has been 2 months and i have to say that our dogs only bark to let me no someone is coming and it only lasts just a couple of barks and they are done ,and instead of the non stop barking while outside it is just a couple of barks and then its QUIET!!!!!! we live on acreage and even our neighbor has said wow what have you done to them its so quiet .i wish i would have done it 10 years ago our house is now a quiet house it is wonderful . now if they start i just have to get the can i dont even have to shake it
