| Jack was so "socially challenged" that I had to take him to a group. The one I found is about 1/2 hour away from my house. We usually meet once a month and it has been the best thing for Jack. Yes people look at me like I am crazy too! Jack still has issues with playing with other dogs. But he has come a long way thanks to our play group. I found the play group in ,my area at www. meetups .com. Check it out -the have meet ups for just about everything and you can even start your own meet ups!

| I guess I figure I have my own play group everyday. I have 3 dogs all about the same size. I do not socialize well due to anxieties. Sometimes my dtr will bring her yorkie up to play. Gypsy is not the type that likes running around playing. Our chi is really shy and hides when Gremlin is around. Not sure how Seymour would act. Due to work hrs I do not think something like that would even be feasible with us. Plus I do not trust people, so having my babies around people I do not know well is very upsetting to me. I keep imaging someone trying to take one of them.

| Furbutts are so much more therapeutic and unconditionally loving anyway I don't have kids yet, but am a teacher and see many advantages to having social hours with dogs rather than kids lol. |

| I don't know why they would find it strange at all. Have I become so emersed in the dog world, I don't see the other side anymore? I don't know, but I don't remember ever finding dog play groups strange. Maybe I didn't know about them before I had small dogs myself. I did used to think it odd for people to dress their dogs and buy them expensive things. But I got over that when I joined YT!

| Hahaha, I am so excited cause I just found out my groomer who has a cute little poodle would love to drop him off to play with Harley! I'm sure the average person would look at me and say, "what you're offering to babysit this dog for free, and you're getting nothing, and you're excited?!?!?!?!" but Harley doesn't have much contact with other dogs, cause we can't afford a sibling. I bring him to Bark & Fitz once a week and buy stuff just so he can play with Sirus the poodle. So yeah I told her to drop him off anytime for the boys to play, I want my baby to keep his socialization up.
