| ![]() Ok, a bit of an update. Sadly I will not be adopting this yorkie, the young man that passed away, his grandmother has decided to keep the dog she just cannot part with him. Which is totally understandable, I cant imagine having to endure such heartache. But on a happy note, we are adopting a VERY obese Beagle on Wednesday. Its a very long story, but to sum it up, a military couple is moving to Germany and cannot take their 5 year old beagle Marley with them, because of some behaviorial issues, they have determined it isnt medically related, she has went through obdience training, etc. So I went last Thursday and met her and she seems like a doll, then took my daughter with me Friday and she did very well. So its either I adopt her or they are putting her to sleep, which to me is unthinkable. Now will we keep this girl forever? Not sure yet. But we want to get her some proper vet care and lose some weight off of her, and then time will tell..Wish us luck, I will post pictures asap! Thanks for all your support, I love each and every one of you!

| ![]() Well I'm glad to hear the grandmother loves the dog. I just hope she takes good care of him. As far as the Beagle goes. I had an obese Beagle many years ago. her name was Daffodil. She was such a crazy dog but so lovable. They are ver stubborn I have to warn you. They are a bit hard to train but if you can get through this they make wonderful pets. I'm really glad you are stepping in to save Marley. Have a wonderful Christmas. |
