| Peeing and pooping while walking. I'm not too concerned about this but find it odd. My 4 1/2 month old puppy has been peeing and pooping while we're walking on the trail. I mean, he doesn't go and sniff around the grass area to do his business, he just does it while we're walking. The first time I noticed it, as we were walking I look down at him and see these wet spots behind him. I figured, alright he didn't want to go on the grass. Other times he'll give a quick tug and then before I can do anything about it he has a trail of poop behind him. I'm assuming this is normal but I wish he would do his business on the grass instead of the middle the trail. Also, I think the issue might be that he walks behind me 90% of the time. Not sure why he likes to walk behind me. We're in puppy class and have learned how to do the loose leash walking and I've seen several "how to" videos on youtube. So, I can't really tell when he needs to go. Sometimes he will tug on the leash and go on the grass but other times, he doesn't make it. I don't know if the problem is with me or him. |

| Harley does what we call NASCAR pees and poos. You look one way and he's playing and then next he's doing his business and then runs away. He doesn't do the nascar pees on walks. but he does the poos. it's weird. But I think they're little systems just get jiggled on long walks and when they have to go they have to go. I prefer when Harley goes on the sidewalk poo wise cause it's easier to clean. But as for the peeing while walking, not sure about that, if Harley has to pee on a walk he takes like 15 minutes to find the spot of grass he wants to use (he's indoor trained so grass is a foreign toilet for him)... lol.

| That does sound unusual... Could he possibly have a bladder infection? |

| Sounds like a "walkin' pooper" to me. I have one of those also. Too nosy thinking he might miss something that's going on.
