Well, I turned what was supposed to be an extremely happy post into a sad one for me and sorry about that. I am truly very glad that you and Tommy now have each other now.

no, don't be sorry at all. Your story sounds exactly like mine and Molly. When Molly saw her owner, she looked up at me as to say, "what the hell are they doing here" She was not pleased at all..but they were her real parents. It pained me to see her leave..I kept wondering if she actually ran away on purpose, and if I ruined it all for her by returning her.

A small part of me even wished I hadn't posted about her on YT. I felt alot of pressure to return her..eventhough I didn't feel so good about the people. Because of that, I stayed away from YT for some months, up until recently when I found the Petfinder ad.

Don't be sorry, I still think of Molly often too. Chester is in my thoughts and prayers as well.

OMG, we've just had another breakthrough. He's sitting here on the couch w/ me, he just licked my fingers! This is his first time doing that..everyother time he just puts his nose to my hand to allow me to pet him. I feel the love growing already!

You have a wonderful heart. You turned down a puppy to give Tommy a chance at a real life! Congratulations! I have faith that you and Tommy will be the very best of pals forever. He's just adorable, too.

I found a little 3-pounder right on some railroad tracks in town one day a few years ago. I was disappointed to return him to his owners, too. As I handed him back to them, he put on his brakes, so to speak, and didn't want to go to them, but what can you do? I still think of him and wonder what his fate was.

CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW BABY!!!! I have a shy boy too. They start small with little signs of affection, but in not time he'll be crawling all over you! Keep doing what you're doing, it sounds like Tommy is enjoying your company.

I also remember your originally finding Molly (I think you found her a bus stop correct?) Also remember how hard it was for you to give her up. I am so glad that you found Tommy, he looks like the perfect little boy who was looking for someone special to love him.

I love the third picture the stretch, that is one my favorite thing Sophie Kate does we call it her downward dog and ask her if she is doing Yoga.

Keep us posted on the progress with Tommy oh and if you haven't heard Target has all their cute little holiday t-shirts now in the Dollar Spot.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you and for Tommy. He is the cutest thing with his foldover ears (which are my favorite). I've always thought of that stretch as being a sign of happiness and trust so I'd say he is settling in beautifully.

I wish you both many, many years of love and happiness.
