| ![]() Bandit was our first yorkie. We got him from a scary BYB and drove to a small country town in PA to get him one night, (I had my cast taken off my wrist 3 days early lol) had to stay in a hotel that looked like it was out of a scary movie, and finally got to get him ![]() ![]() Nala on the other hand was a bit different. We got her from a breeder in ALbany NY. We got her the day we got back from our Honeymoon (we flew into NY were both sets of parents live) and he drove her down to our parents house. She was so cute and we both really liked her but it took a few weeks to actually bond with her and love her. She was so attached to Bandit (I think she thought Bandit was her mom) and liked us but LOVED Bandit. After around 9ish months Nala started becoming extremely attached to me. Her nickname is Pita (pain in the @$$) and the only time she would calm down is if I held her. I love her sooooo much now, and am SO glad I got her but it wasn't love at first sight like with my Bandit man. |

| ![]() Hi. I'm new here everybody. My little yorkie's name is Sergeant Cooper, or just "cooper". My story is that I actually wasn't a big "dog in the house fan" was kind of against the whole thing and thought I'd never have one in the house much less one period. Well, my husband and I were seperated for two long years and I came to the point I needed desperately some little companion and knew I wanted a little dog. I seen yorkies before and thoght they were just beautiful and done some research and settled in on that breed. I found my baby on a website called kijiji and of all the yorkies I saw, he was just absolutely adorable. The cutest little petite face. By far my pick. But, I thought he was too far away for me to travel to to pick up, so I sought after more local yorkies. But, they were either way out of my price range or already gone and sold. It was also my birthday, ( which is how I justified paying out that much for a dog) it was my bday/ christmas present to myself. And, turns out my sister willingly drove me the long distance to get this puppy, and I ended up with the one that I wanted to begin with from the website. But He was the last of the litter. So cute. And Nov 6 will be one year I've had him with me and he's an absolute blessing. He's a guaranteed smile every day. He's the perfect blend of hyper-spunk, so friendly with people and he's a big snuggler. I absolutely adore him and am such a dog person now. I see my dog in every dogs eyes. We're inseperable. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() ACTUALLY... My boyfriend at the time (Xbf now), his friend bought a dog but didn't want it because the wife got upset he had too many dogs. My xbf was standing there so he gave Lexi to him. HE came over and said i got you a puppy. I said..."What the hell??? Why did you bring it here, I don't want a puppy, my sister is allergic and my parents will KILL ME!!!" Anyways, she walked out the carrying case and she immediately followed me around looking for some loving...I couldn't resist her and I immediately loved her. She was so tiny and so innocent and I knew i could give her a better life than the one she was going to have. One month later I broke up with that guy because it turned out he wanted to take her back and I gained custody of her. Besides my name was on ever vet bill, grooming bill etc. Everything about her had my name all over it ![]() I don't regret getting her, and I'd say Love at first sight!!!

| ![]() I'm so glad no one said "I really wanted a small dog to fit in my hand bag. So I went to a pet store and bought the smallest one they had" I may have had to choke them. It would appear we are all extremely loving mummies and daddies. |

| ![]() I went looking for another dog after my male was killed. He and Isabel had been together since they were pups and we didn't want Isabel to be alone. Moses was advertised as 10mos, all shots, micro chipped and neutered. So, how great was that! My son and I went and got him and he was absolutely beautiful. Long coat, nice top knot, very playful, just a great puppy. This was on friday night; on Sunday morning he jumped off my bed and broke his leg! After the expense of trying to save Harley, the expense of trying to save Mosey's leg was too much and I eventually had to have it amputated. Did I regret buying him? More times that I should ever admit. The expense, the care, NO BATHS for 2 1/2 months and all that long hair!!. But now, we cannot imagine him not being there. He is the most aggravating dog you will have ever met, but when he looks at you with that little crooked smile and those eyes, how could we live without him? He is MY baby, he is my backwarmer and my friend. (he also does not have all that long hair, short cuts for me!) |

| ![]() I went into the pet store to buy some things and I saw Zach sitting in a little crib. I really wasn't interested in getting a dog because of something that happened to me with a pet scam. I just walked by him and he cried his eyes out. I couldn't help it I had to go back to pet him. The store owner asked if I wanted to hold him and that was it for me. So just going into a store to buy a few tubes of nutracal I ended up spending $1000 on Zach. BTW I didn't know anything about byb or puppy mills selling to pet stores at the time. Zach is my little crazy boy and I'm so glad I found him. I guess it was meant to be. He was a little lover then and he's gotten more loving every day. |

| ![]() I love these stories. I am not the only crazy in love person here. My boys are the loves of my life. I live to come home to them, that when they run in the yard so happy and carefree that I fall in love again, when they cuddle up with me and fall sound asleep in my arms I fall in love again, when they stare at me with those big brown eyes and all the love in the world is shining in them, well guess what??? I fall in love again. They make me fall in love many times a day.
