| Don't you love when.... I purchased a dog from a breeder (hobby) and she said that Happy had champion bloodlines on dad's side. Well I didn't want to offend so I didn't ask to see the pedigree. When I registered her with AKC I ordered the 4 generation pedigree as well. And sure enough, no champions. Have to love it when they say champion bloodlines, but they mean like 20 generations ago! Lesson learned. Not that I care. I got a great deal with happy. She was $600 full AKC registration and she checked out completely with the vet so far so I guess I was a lucky one!!!

| Lesson learned!!! Ya that's my Happy Go Lucky baby. She is 10 weeks now and boy is she metamorphasizing before my eyes. Her hairs seems to change every day now LOL. And no matter about the CH. lines I love her no matter what. I know of people who pay tons of money for their yorkies and end up having so many health problems. I am just glad she is healthy and "Happy" (HeHe!) But I guess lesson learned. From now on if someone claims CH lines I'll ask to see pedigree.

| Well I'm glad she healthy. That's what really counts. Too bad she wasn't honest with you. It would be hard to recommend her as a breeder. Happy sure is sweet!!!!

| It's a shame that people have to lie. She is a beautiful little girl and I am very happy that Happy is healthy little yorkie. Congrats to you.

| Your little one is so cute and adorable. Congratulations. Too bad the breeder lied regarding the champion lines, is so hard to trust when you are lie to. Im so happy that she is healthy and the price very reasonable. |

| Sounds like you got a great deal. I think sometimes when people look at the pedigree of the pup they bought and see champions 2 or 3 generations back on the parent's papers they aren't thinking that it drops back one more generation when they send for their papers and then back another when they get their first litter and then that registration makes the championship go back even further. Hope I didn't ramble on so much that this doesn't make any sense. |

| Thank you all for your gracious comments on Happy. I love her too and think she's the best no matter what. Just hope prospective breeders will be ready for me next time. 'Cuz I tell you what, they will probably think I'm an ex FBI agent grilling them. LOL!

| i had the same exact thing happen to me. with my female. i didnt know enough to ask for the pedigree when i picked her out at that time i never had a pure bred so i had no idea. she went on and on how her dad had champion bloodlines. well i found out the same way i have a 4 generation an no champions. but she too is healthy full of spirits and i think out of the danger zone for hereditary defects the vet say she looks good and shes 7lbs a little bigger then expected but she was tiny when i got her just like yours my vet said most hereditary defects show up around 6 months of age so keep a good eye on her. she is absolutly adorable!! |
