What a jerk! You could tell him that the barking doesn't bother you but that rude mouthing off does. hehehe Or get the puppies to bark as much as possible to aggravate him. I definitely agree that you should report him though.

Well, I did call and complain!!!! But the company I purchased the blinds from hired him as an independent contractor to hang them. So therefore they have no right to reprimand him for the way I was treated, but they will take it into consideration when they need to hire him again. Thats what I was told!! I think its a load of crap in my opinion, but....and to top it all off, I think he did a lousy job of hanging everything, which I also complained about. They said they will send him back out to redo some of it. I told them to send someone else, but if they do that, then I have to pay another fee to have someelse come to the house to do what needs to be done. I really don't want to have to pay again, so he is coming when my hubby is here. This is the Sh$% that really frustrates me.

What a load of _ _ _ _ that guy told you That jerk is representing his company which ever way you look at it If I owned a business and I was getting independant people to finish the job and jerks like that were at the end of the day representing my company I would be soooo mad.It is a reflection on his company which ever way you look at it.

Ok, 1st off it is YOUR house, not his and you are paying for him to get a job done, not express his opinion or dislike of the situation.

I would have told him to pack his crap back up and leave, then I'd call the company and request someone else do the work instead, explaining that the man had no cooth or respect for their customers and that he should not be doing "housecalls" because it is poor representation for their company. If the owner gives you flack then cancel the order and take your business elsewhere. If they care about customer service then they should be willing to comply w/ your request and maybe even discount the labor charges for installation.

It's a very sad epidemic these days. People ARE rude to each other. Why has "nice" gotten to be such a dirty word these days? And on that note, I would have told him..."Your job is to paint...period...if I need a commentary...I'll hire NBC...and if you so much as "GRAZE" any of my dogs with any of your anatomy whatsoever...you'll need THREE jobs to make up for what my lawyer has garnished from your wages for the next ten years....
God...that man would make my blood boil.... Whatever happened to Customer Service? Geez....if I acted that way with my customers...I'd starve!

You're right, that is complete bull@#*$! That company is responsible for providing you with complete satisfaction...even if the owner had to come out and hang the damn things himself! You can't hide behind the old "independent contractor" routine. That contractor represents the company. If that man had broken your prized Ming Vase, the company would be legally responsible for replacing it!
