Lizzy is 3 years and weighs 6.4 pounds. I think she could stand to lose the .4 pounds :D. |
Ziva is 18 months and 6 1/2 lbs. I think this is a perfect weight for her so am going to work to keep her there. She was eating a high calorie (evo) food and I was surprised how quickly she gained weight (we thought her butt felt squishy!) Maybe we will do a monthly weigh-in...;) |

Tucker is 2 years old and a solid 9 pounds. Not an ounce of fat on him. He is very stocky so his wieght fits him well. |
I have 3 is at 7 1/2 months Chloe weight in at 5 lbs on the noise yesterday before the spayed her. She is tall and skinny and I think could gain a bit and look better. Claire Bear is 7 months and my vet said she is over weight at 6.2 lbs. She is short and stocky and has a chunky butt and I can't feel her ribs so I have to cut back on treats. Charm is 6 1/2 months and weight 3.1 lbs yesterday, my vet said she is healthy but she's going to be a little one. I'm hoping she get up to 4 lbs. |
I have 2 solid boys. Cooper, who is 2 1/2 is just about 10 pounds. He's my football player. I wouldn't say he had an athletic build, but he seems to be in good shape. His cottony coat is so thick he looks overweight but you can easily feel his ribs. He's tiny in the bathtub:) Max at 5 months old is 9.5 pounds. He's my basketball player. He's very tall with long legs and has a very long body. He's about the same weight as Cooper but their body shapes are completely different, both being in perfect shape. |
Lulu is my only furbaby. She is just over 6 months and weighs 3.3 lbs. However, just b/c your baby weighs more than the standard, does not mean he/she is overweight. Some yorkies are smaller or larger than the standard. It doesn't mean there's something wrong with them, they are individuals...that's all. ;) |
She weighs 4 lbs. 8 oz. at 5 months. She's very food motivated, but if my vet isn't concerned, then I am fine. With her family history, I see her being right at 7 lbs. Her Mom was 8 lbs., and her Dad was 6 lbs. Her grandparents all weighed between 6-8 lbs. as well. |
Our babies are both right at 2 1/2 pounds and i wish they were a little bigger . Dustee came out of a 5lb momma and a 3 1/2 pound daddy and Sugar Bear came out of a 5 1/2 pound momma and a 3lb daddy so we were hoping for a close to 5 lb baby but it didnt happen. But no matte their size we love both just like our children. |
my girl who is 9 months old weighs 9lbs 4 and is long and thin, you can feel her ribs. i think it just depends on what shape ang height yours is unless the vet has said that yours is to heavy then dont worry |
My baby weights 1.2lbs she's nearly 4 months old. But she sure is crazy lol She's got so much energy in the day time and she has 2 naps in the day time and she goes to sleep at 8.30pm and sleeps all the way thru to 8.30am Love her to bits but I do hope she will get to 3lbs |
cassie is 9 years old and weighs 2lbs 8 ounces jacey is 3 lbs and is 2 years old taleigh weighs 3lbs 9 ounces and is 2 |

Ours vary in weight (we have 5). According to our vet, you should be able to feel the ribs with a little meat on them but not be able to visibly see the ribs. Basically it depends on the frame. |
i have ( 3 ) 2 yorkies and a lil pekingese pumpkin is 5 pounds and is 10 years old porscha is 3.6 and she is 14 months old ( all most 15 months ) mee ling is 3 pounds and she is 17 weeks old ( up from the 13 oz when i got her at 11 weeks old ) |
My Harley weighs 3 1/2 pounds and has a very petite frame, but very healthy. He only gets veggies for treats. My friend has a female that is 9 lbs but is a much bigger body frame. Any size yorkie is perfect in my opinion Christy- owned by Harley:aimeeyork |
