| Ok I did it! I think I finally got this whole pic thing right. Now can any one tell me if their yorkie had this little hair at 4 months old? Last edited by Phoebe's mommy; 11-03-2005 at 06:51 AM. |

| Usually by 4 months I start thinking about when to have the pup groomed... they are usually fluff balls..... Maybe your baby is going to have reeeeeeeeeeeally thin hair (???). Maybe one of those rare "hairless" yorkies ??... (just kidding)

| Your baby is beautiful!!!! I am sure there is a reasonable explanation for the hair being thin. What about the parents?Have you asked your vet? I would ask the breeder also.I love the pictures, they look professional, how did you do it????

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali is 4 months old and she doesn't have a ton of hair. Both parents were cut down so it was no help in determining. After I bought her the breeder gave me a business card with her dad's pic on it and I was disappointed in how thin his coat was. Your baby is so cute and they do get more coat every day. Cali is finally getting fluffier. |

I did it with the software that came with my digital camera, and as for the breeder she assures me that her hair is going to grow but she is going to have a silky coat. I attached pics of mom and dad. So you can tell me what you think? | |

| Really cute pictures!!!! I think her hair will grow, she's still young. She's just going to have thin hair, looks like her parents have thin hair too. She really is cute!!

| Thin Phase? I have heard they go through a thin hair phase, not all I would assume though. Jack had a real thick puppy coat. Now he is somewhat thinning out quite a bit at 6 months. He is definitaly going to have a blondish grey silky coat. Mandy is almost a 1yr and she is a real thick cottony coat. I really think the coat will thicken up in a few months. Verena |
