CKC will allow dogs to be registered just on a couple of pics and a statement signed by three(?) people saying the dog is a purebred.

| Well, I meant "Contential Kennel Club". I did find an online site for CKC. They have events and all sort of things for CKC. They even have a notice about scams of dogs on there. It seems like there are real honest in that sense. |

| One thing that is important to remember is that you have to consider a lot more than just the registry. The registry alone does not make the dog a healthy quality dog nor does it make one an honest breeder. That being said, however, AKC is the more respected and reputable of the two. You can always have a dog that is AKC registered with CKC as well so that you can compete in their events. |

I for one would only purchase an AKC or Canadian Kennel Club dog.
