| My 13 Week Old Male Yorkie Is adorable and so playful which I love, however, I want him to be more cuddly and let me hold and love on him more, but he gets mouthy and wants to get down out of my arms. Will this change as he gets older? And if so, how old? Secondly, I want to get one of those cute little purses or bags to carry him in so he can go places with me, but with his personality, I feel like he would not even want to be put inside one, or he would constantly be trying to jump out, making it impossible for me to take him with me and it be a pleasant experience. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

| Trevor just turned 4 months, so I can relate. He's a little cuddly, but not as much as I'd like.... only when he's tired and ready for a nap. I bought a purse/carrier thing yesterday. It's one of those that has a scooped out area on top where he can stick his head out. I wandered around Petco with it on before I bought it to see if he would like it. He wasn't thrilled. But bought it anyway. Then we went to Lowe's and I put him in it and he kinda liked that. He loves to go bye-bye and when he hear's the keys rattle, he gets between you and the door and you can't leave him. I think if he associates getting to go and riding in the purse, he'll start liking it. I put him in a carrier thing that looked like a small crate and he pitched a fit. Hope this helps. | Hercules is almost 6 months and he's very bitey. He's been loosing his baby teeth for about a month or so now (I found 2!), but he was bitey before that too. I actually feel bad for him, because I imagine it's because he's teething. I think it's just a stage though. So try to hang in there. Oh yeah, and my only cuddly time with him is when he's asleep or when he's eatinga booda bone!

| I saw a purse/carrier at Petco yesterday but it was too tall, my little Beau is probably only 5 inches tall, I'll just have to keep looking, I did see the little clip thing inside so now I feel better that he won't be able to jump out. When he's sleepy, he will curl up next to me on the floor or sofa, but only when he's tired. I'll be getting him neutered when he's around 6 months, I think that's a good age, if not, let me know. One other thing, I realize at 13 weeks, he's probably the equivalent of a 6 month old who's crawling around on the floor, but I tell you any little tinny piece of anything winds up in his mouth and I have to chase him down and do the sweep thing with my finger to get it out and he hates that. I'll just be glad when that phase is gone. Thanks for your help |

| I can't answer your cuddley ?, but for the purse/pet carriers go to petcarriers on ebay. I just bought one Monday and should be getting it anyday now.

| I have kind of the opposite problem. Frankie loves to be cuddled, curl up in our lap, and gives lots of kisses. However, he never seems to really like to play with his toys (with the exception of his Teddy, which his dad caught him humping!) It's just his personality, I guess. I had a puppy before Frankie, and she was the same way until a certain age. It might be just a phase your baby is going through. |
