| My two Bassets love to bask in the sun but my Shorkie and my Yorkie would rather be inside the air conditioned house when it's hot. The Bassets love the snow but the two lttle ones have not experienced snow yet I can't wait for the first snow fall. |

| I'm excited also. This will be her first snow as well. I remember when she HATED dew in the mornings with a passion, so it should be interesting. Maybe it won't be so bad with boots...

YT 500 Club Member | Meg would be out in the sun ALL day long if I let her. She will just lay out on the patio and enjoy the sun, or lay in front of the door and enjoy the sun when I make her come inside. T-Bone enjoys the sun, but not nearly as much. I think he overheats faster for some reason. Haven't had T-Bone in the snow yet, but Meg loves it... provided she has her snowsuit and booties on, and it's not actually snowing. She hates it when the little flakes fall onto her head! Here are some photos of Meg in her snowsuit: Nicole and Tim's Blog: First Snow in Korea

YT 500 Club Member | Thank you! I have always used harnesses on my dogs, never collars. I guess it might look like a collar since it rides up a little to fit under her snowsuit. It's actually one of the silk harnesses from a YT seller (can't think of her name for the life of me right now). It's always good to educate others on the dangers of using a collar though! I am always paranoid about my dogs developing trachea problems.
