Donating YT 500 Club Member | Does your little one ever seem depressed? Latley I have noticed Taycie sulking more... She was just at the vet a week ago and I really don't believe its an illness.. She is drinking and eating fine, pooping normal... she had her blood work done about 3 months ago everything came back normal...so her little attitude has me wondering what could be wrong She just doesn't seem quite herself.. She plays and follows me around but then If I sit down on the computer or make dinner its like she sulks! I feel really bad. I have cuddled her more and tried to make her "feel better" but latley I feel like even when I do that she doesn't even want to be bothered? The little thing is spoiled rotten.. goes with me everywhere I could possibly take her. We have are afternoon walks and park time daily. We have one on one time at least 5 hours out of the day and she does go to work with me as well we are RARLEY apart... Maybe she needs a break of me...She has me STUMPED... It makes me so sad! What can I do? |

| Your Taycie sounds just like my Kacee! They're spoiled rotten and when they get bored or want to be doing something with you, they pout! My previous lil angel would pout, too. If I told her no, she would pout. They are just too smart and too spoiled. I forgot to add that it makes me feel bad, too. I know exactly how you feel. I can't stand it and I know she knows it.

| We had a dog when I was growing up and we believed she was depressed one whole summer when she hadn't been getting the walks she loved/needed....I think its possible! I do hope she comes out of her funk soon!

| Have there been ANY changes at all in her life or surroundings? Anything from people, walks, toys, food, to her own place (create, bed, blanket, whatever it maybe). Our two year old Star is very attached to my husband. Sometimes he goes away for work or to visit family for a few days or weeks at a time. When Star sees the suitcase she instantly gets sad. After he leaves and for the whole time he is gone she lays around and looks so depressed. I try to do little extra things that I know she loves to cheer her up. Bringing her for extra walks, she loves apples and oats so I fill a kong up for her, more play & cuddle time. In addition to extra walks, I will take her into our back yard and run her around or spend a lot of time playing with her. It seems to take her mind off of it for that time and then tires her out. So the rest of the night she cuddles and sleeps. My inlaws have a lab who was create trained. They never realized how much he loved his create until they took it away after he no longer needed it for training reasons. He was so sad for weeks straight. They could not figure it out until doing some research and found that dogs love their own place. They gave it back to him and he was his normal happy self again. I hope this helps some! Good luck |

| If she continues to be depressed or lethargic; I would have her checked again by the Vet. That is not normal puppy behavior for any length of time. Hope she is better now.

| Bailey sulks when he is waiting on me fro something, and I don't get it or do it in a timely enough matter for him! He snaps out of it as soon as all attention is on him again though!

YT 1000 Club Member | I think they all pout. Charlie pouted when I got Natalie but now he is himself again. I have to make sure I give him as much attention as I give her or he pouts. They are funny little dogs....but so dang loveable!! |

| Ellie does that when she is bored. She also gets upset and acts terribly ill and lethargic when she has a onesie on. But she did it for the longest time once. We bought her a new squeaky ball (her old one got thrown out or something). That snapped her right out of it. Laying around has got to bore the heck outta them.
