| Haha I LOVE this thread!! I started dating my BF about 6 months ago and when he first met 3 pound Oliver (my BF is about 6'5 and 270 haha) he told me he hated little dogs. After 5 minutes I think he changed his mind Now they are inseperable! I think Oliver likes him more than me now!!

| My dh LOVES Remy. He hugs and sweet talks her. I would have never though it possible I went to a yorkie meet up. My Remy was playing with another furbut.. it was so cute I took a video. On of the ladies' husband was there and I got him in the video playing with the furbuts. He said to me -- DO NOT show that video to ANYONE I have a rep to keep up --- blackmail

| I never heard of Yorkies until I met my fiancee to be honest. She loves them and it got me taking a liking for them. I don't desperately want one like she does, but I think they're awesome! I'd have no problem having one of my own (if we can afford to take care of more than one) |

| My X Boyfriend loved small dogs as a matter of fact he had a toy poodle. He was afraid of large dogs (the wimp). Too bad I broke up with him before i got my two 55 lb bassets he never would have come into my house. He would have loved Zach my yorkie, Zoe my shorkie, and Oliver my Shih tzu though. |

| My ex was the first person to introduce me to yorkies, and I have to say I think I miss that dog more than her! Haha. Well after meeting onyx I decided yorkies were the breed for me. Now I have a 10 week old little girl and I couldn't be happier. She scares the crap out of the 2 wesites next door and the pit bull down the street. Bahaha. Her and I are a pretty good stereotype destroying team. |

| My husband didn’t like dogs, he always said he is a cat person. Now we have 2 yorkies: I have a girl he has a boy. He is very proud to walk Bruno in the park, to buy pink dresses for Pixie. And of course both dogs sleep with us in bed: Pixie sleeps on his pillow and Bruno at his feet. Every time he looks at them he melts Our families didn’t like very much the idea of small dogs, but since we had yorkies everyone decided they are the greatest breed and they are so amazed how smart our dogs can be.

| My husband's favorite breed was a GSD, until Prince can into our lives. My husband was converted, and is now a one-breed-yorkie man! When Prince got sick with CT, my husband and I spent a lot of teary nights together. After Prince passed, and we started thinking about getting another baby, he would only consider a yorkie. Now we have Ian.

| My husband loves Rosie!! But he keeps it a secret. He told my son to never tell anyone that he lets Rosie lay with him and kiss on him. He said make sure everyone knows the big outside dog is his. Lol. But guess who is the first one he goes to when he comes home from work? Rosie!!!

| Here's my 6'4" boyfriend with Layla He even had this as his profile picture on facebook for a long time! I knew he was something special when we took Layla in for emergency spinal surgery after she lost control of her legs, and we were sitting in the exam room, and his face turned red and he burst out in tears and said he is so scared that he'll never get another kiss from her again. He had been living with us for a year at that point and she had completely stolen his heart. He didn't grow up with pets but now says he can't imagine ever living without a dog!
