He even had this as his profile picture on facebook for a long time! I knew he was something special when we took Layla in for emergency spinal surgery after she lost control of her legs, and we were sitting in the exam room, and his face turned red and he burst out in tears and said he is so scared that he'll never get another kiss from her again. He had been living with us for a year at that point and she had completely stolen his heart. He didn't grow up with pets but now says he can't imagine ever living without a dog!
