| Well, I guess you're ready to get lots of exercise especially for the next few months and not enough sleep, either.

| They played for awhile before lunch. They played during our lunch. Then they played after lunch. Staci and I went early with our three little doggies. It was planned for 1:00. So we had a nice long afternoon.

| Sounds fun! Can I ask a question, are yorkies more difficult than other terriers? Reason I ask, I have a toto (carrian) terrier, and he is stubborn just like a kid. I know all dogs are different, but in general what can I expect? Your's cried all night? |

| No, Kacee only cries when she leaves Staci. When I first brought Kacee home, I let her sleep in bed and she just woke up a time or two crying a little bit. I took her out to pee and took her back to bed and she went back to sleep. They're intelligent, stubborn, bossy, aim to please, stubborn, and cuter than heck!

| Emily, I just wanted to say "Thanks" for Sunday's Get-together! Reuger and I had so much fun! I noticed that there weren't any pictures of Reuger. It was probably because he was either behind my legs or on someone's lap. He was so timid around all the other dogs. Jessica, your baby, Allison, was so cute and was so good all afternoon. I hope your trip home was as good. The cutest moment that I saw was when Jasmine tried and tried to get Reuger to come and play with her. It makes me smile every time I think of it. I hope that we plan another "Puppy Party" again. Here's a picture of Reuger after we got home. So tuckered out!!! |

| Reuger is soooooo cute! If you ever don't want him, I'd be glad to take him off your hands.

| Rengaw, We have a West Highland White terrier who is 7 months old. His name is Duffy. Our little Yorkie, Jasmine, is completely different from him. I love him to death, but he can drive me crazy sometimes. He is very high energy, stubborn, rowdy, very hard to make mind. He has a mind of his own and wants to have things his way. He will not sit on your lap at all. Likes loving, but only for a minute and then he is off and gone. He does really love me, though, he just won't cuddle. He loves when I come home for lunch or when I come home after work. He wants me to play with him all evening. Brings me his balls and other toys. He is extremely intelligent and even at 7 months seems to know everything you say. Jasmine is very smart too. She didn't cry the first night at all because I put her in our bed and she snuggled up and slept all night without a peep. I couldn't do that with him because he wouldn't have settled down, he would have been all over us. Jasmine already minds and you don't really have to do anything but tell her in a stern voice, no. She is very sweet and loving and loves to be cuddled, but she is also playful. They just have entirely different personalities. They both think I am their momma and they both really, really love me and I really, really love them back. I have to caution everyone in the family because she is so tiny and cute and so loving they give her more attention than him. He is jealous of her already, and I don't want to make it any worse. |

| bosslady-do your terriers get along? We've had Max (our carrian) just over a year, and I'm afraid of the jealousy. He is a big part of our family and seems to choose me over my husband; I wonder what kind of problems I'll have when I bring my new baby home? Do you think he will regress? Thanks! |

| They say to introduce them on neutral ground. Time usually heals all jealousy wounds, though. Just don't ignore the one you've got and make such a big fuss over the new one. They have feelings, too.

| I put him on a leash and my husband held on to the leash when we first brought her home. We've only had her for 2 weeks. I didn't know what he would do and he is so much bigger than she is. She is very tiny and he weighs about 18 lbs. ( he is actually getting pretty chubby, I may have to cut back on his food) He really likes her and is really pretty gentle with her considering she is the one who is always jumping on him wanting to wrestle. I try to discourage this as I am afraid he will hurt her without meaning too as he is so much bigger. He is jealous of her. Doesn't like it when she gets his toys and of course when I am holding her, he jumps up on me too. But he always tries to sneak and take her toy or treat and doesn't ever try to hurt her. She will growl at him and try to bite him and he backs off. It is kind of funny. He seems to know she is a lot smaller than he is. I just watch them very carefully as I couldn't take it if she got hurt and I try to discourage them from their play wrestling. He has regressed on his housebreaking though. He was completely housebroken and now he wants to go in the house. I guess because we are working on her training and she has accidents. It will take a lot of patience, but I love them both enough to work through it. This morning I put him in his kennel when I left for work and I was bringing her to work with me so she was running around. She did not like it when I put him in the kennel. She was over sitting right against the door licking at him through the wire and then it looked like she was trying to get the door open. I think they like it other enough that we can work it out. |

Aww..thanks! Yes, she slept all the way home! Poor Reuger was very shy all afternoon! Lucky kept aggravating him and wouldn't leave him alone! It was too cute though when Jasmine was trying to play w/ him! She's so little, but was acting very big! | |
