Default terriers

Rengaw,
We have a West Highland White terrier who is 7 months old. His name is Duffy. Our little Yorkie, Jasmine, is completely different from him. I love him to death, but he can drive me crazy sometimes. He is very high energy, stubborn, rowdy, very hard to make mind. He has a mind of his own and wants to have things his way. He will not sit on your lap at all. Likes loving, but only for a minute and then he is off and gone. He does really love me, though, he just won't cuddle. He loves when I come home for lunch or when I come home after work. He wants me to play with him all evening. Brings me his balls and other toys. He is extremely intelligent and even at 7 months seems to know everything you say.
Jasmine is very smart too. She didn't cry the first night at all because I put her in our bed and she snuggled up and slept all night without a peep. I couldn't do that with him because he wouldn't have settled down, he would have been all over us.
Jasmine already minds and you don't really have to do anything but tell her in a stern voice, no. She is very sweet and loving and loves to be cuddled, but she is also playful. They just have entirely different personalities. They both think I am their momma and they both really, really love me and I really, really love them back.
I have to caution everyone in the family because she is so tiny and cute and so loving they give her more attention than him. He is jealous of her already, and I don't want to make it any worse.
