| Oliver update! Hi everyone Good news and bad news. The good news is that Oliver is 100% better after last week's multiple vet visits!!! He hasn't vomited, seizured, or had diarrhea since Friday. He didn't even cry when he got his rabies shot, what a champion! He and Lexi had a very fun Halloween weekend and were the stars of my boyfriend's Halloween party (Ollie was a bat, Lexi was a ladybug). Bad news...I was in stop and go traffic on my way home from my boyfriend's house this morning (with the pups) and was rear ended by some guy who DROPPED SOMETHING AND BENT DOWN TO PICK IT UP WHILE DRIVING. My car is a stick shift, so when he hit me it stalled and I went straight into the car in front of me. Luckily, the pups were fine. A note to anyone who drives with their pups - PLEASE only transport them in hard carriers and wrap the seat belt strap around the handle. I know it may not be the most fun or cute way to drive them around, but you never know what can happen. If they were in their car seat, they would have gone flying into the windshield. I get scared even thinking about it. They had to take me to the hospital in an ambulance, and I found out later that the policeman was very nice and put the pups in the back seat of his car until my friend came to take them to my apartment. I just got home from the hospital and am sporting a very stylish neck brace and have all sorts of medications for my neck. The guy who hit me turned out to not have insurance, so I'm going to have a fun couple of days trying to figure this out. I have a BMW, and even a diagnostic check is upwards of a few hundred dollars But my mom just flew in from NYC to take care of me, so it'll be nice to be babied for a few days So the pups have had a very eventful weekend, and their very first ride in a police car! Think its time for these two bandits to call it a night, they're pooped |

| Wow!! How awful! I would have totally freaked out. Last month I had to be taken by emergency to the hospital from the vet's office at 3 am where I had taken Ava for her corneal ulcer and it was so awful. I worried terribly about her even though she was at the vets. They weren't a very nice vet's office (made me feel stupid for bringing her in in the middle of the night and waking them up or whatever) Then they charged me $1500 for doing nothing really!! Anyway, I am glad you are all okay. Let your mom take care of you and get some rest. |

| So sorry this happened to you ... but good news that Ollie's better and hopefully you are not seriously injured! Let your Mom "baby" you and don't make any decisions about the accident until you have time to think it through rationally. Been there .... rear ended years ago by a college student in little white tennis shorts!!! I would have just let it go and paid for the damage to my new car .... but .... he absolutely "wedged" his little TR sportscar under the rear of my car, slammed into me so hard it threw my little peek-a-poo under the dashboard [this was waaaay before safety things for dogs!] .... but the clincher was, he jumped out of his car yelling "no brakes, I knew I didn't have any brakes but I was just going a short distance to play tennis!!!" In the end, I made him pay [out of his pocket] for the expense of the accident and for his irresponsiblity in dropping his insurance to "cut corners"!! He lived with his parents & they were paying his expenses!! The moral to this long story .... don't let the guy get away with this .... get all the details and make him pay for his irresponsiblity!! Again, I am so thankful that little Ollie is better ... just snuggle up with your babies, let Mom make you soup and get well quick!!!

| I'm sorry you were hurt, and know you're mom will take good care of you. Tell those two little ones to stay out of police cars. I don't want to see them on America's Most Wanted. |

| Glad to hear Oliver is doing better. Oh my, now you take care of you!!! So glad to hear you have help from your Mom. I know I would have been very scared. I don't let Princess go for rides in the car if she's not in her seat. Sometimes I have to fight her, but she's knows I'm going to win. Take care!!!
