| Moving Sucks!!! So I've been away for a while, cause my move has been awful! but I'm finally out of that cockroach infested, poorly managed apartment building. Thank God... So my poor little baby is stuck in this tiny room, I'm not anywhere near having the whole place puppy proofed and I feel horrible. I take him out once or twice a day for a play in the back yard and a walk, and we let him cuddle in our bed at night, but it's been so super hectic. Does anyone have any tips on making him settle? He's started barking because we're on second floor, and he can hear traffic. He also wakes up at 5:30-6:00 every morning and starts whimpering.... but he used to get up at 8:30... his schedule is so out of wack. To make things worse, I just started class, and a new job, and I'm not going to have much time to unpack... blah. and his potty training has had a huge back fall today... I look forward to hearing from ya'll. I hope I can get my little one and myself settled.

| THanks, yeah I really missed YT... It's been sooo crazy. Harley settled in last night a bit more. he's really grown attached to cuddling in our bed. each night we get him out of his room, and let him lay with us for 30 min or so (he sleeps in his room not with us), and he's never been this cuddly. He just curls up between the bf and I and lays for a belly rub. (I can't wait to have this place set up so he can go everywhere). Also I got a curtain for his room, so that it was darker in there (there is a street light outside his door) He only woke up twice. He's stopped barking... unless a really loud (assuming drunk) person walks by screaming... (we get a few of them every once in a while as we live in a student area). he now just whimpers, but I've been jumping up going to his door and giving him a "No... you need to shhhhh and go night night.." and it seems to work. we'll see maybe he'll sleep longer tonight. I feel like I have a baby... having to wake up so much at night. I just hope things can get settled this weekend... not working so let's hope I can get some major work done.

| Glad to see a familiar name returning. (: I've been visiting a friend in GA, and am now sick from the allergens. Ragweed is just awful. I'm certain little Harley will adjust fine with time. Khloe travels with me everywhere, and she is just now fully housebroken. How old is little Harley? Congrats on your new place! It's always so exciting to start fresh, especially when you had issues with your old place. Have a great weekend; don't work too hard or get overwhelmed. I still have boxes stacked in our laundry room that I need to go through after being here 1 year. lol. Please give us updates on little Harley, and how he is adjusting.

| So happy for you but sad that your baby is upset. I just think you keep on doing what you are doing and he'll settle. Once he's got the run of the place he's gonna settle down again. Good luck. |

| I think you'll just have to take it one day at a time and see how things go with him. Good luck, though. With him and with your new job/school.

| Thanks all. I really missed everyone during this stressful move. Harley is almost 11 months now... (wow I can't believe he's almost a year old already). He's acting more puppyish than ever now... I'm enjoying the fun of trying to puppy proof one room at a time... and let me tell you he's not making it easy. I'm a little worried about the radiators. Every room has one, and he's made it a game to go behind them and under them to eat all the lint behind them (I can only get so well behind there) I'm hoping this is just an exploration phase and he'll grow out of it. He also decided when I opened up a new area to him, that my door stop was a GREAT chew toy.... so yeah we'll see what he gets into next. I just opened our bedroom up for him last night... it's not completely unpacked but I made sure it's safe. He'll only be in there supervised so that makes it a bit easier. He is usually on our bed when we're in there. Oh and the little bug... in his room, he's made it a game to go unplug all my electrical chords... which I swore were protected from him... ugh he gave me a heart attack, cause I really thought he couldn't get to them. So we went out and got a new shelf that is caddy cornered, I'd like to see him get behind that one... (I better be careful what I wish for lol). It's an adventure. He got through the night last night, he just keeps waking up at 6... ugh. and when I feed him at 8 he's acting like he's starving, but he has kibble all night... lol... silly puppy. He's definitely helping me deal with all this crap. Our new place is ALOT nicer than our old one, it's got a lot more nooks and places to store stuff too, making it easier to puppy proof. But as any new place it has some problems. Like there are only 2 3-pronged plug ins... the rest are all 2... I knew this old victorian home was going to have some sort of hidden issues. So I get to have a fun chat with the land lord this week. *sigh*... We'll I'll keep you all posted, hope you don't mind my rant/journal I just wrote, it's nice to just write it all down, get it out, and then get up and start unpacking some more....
