| ![]() BTW, I shaved her ears, taped them and nothing. One day they're up, the next day one is up and one is down or both are down. This has been an ongoing battle. |

I'll have to let his poor ears rest a bit.

| ![]() Bazinga's a cutie pie! Yeah for his ears! It helps a lot if you keep them trimmed to get them to stand up on their own. Sometimes you don't even need to tape them if your keep them trimmed nice and clean for a while. If their teething though, your may see those ears going up and down until their done. ![]()

| ![]() YAY!!! Great news for the standing up ears. Sophie Kate's ears never stood up all the way, she has strange ears they are up but the tips flop over.

| ![]() Where are you getting Bazinga groomed? I have tried most of the groomers in Alpharetta and finally I found Paula at Petco - she is awesome (yes I know at Petco). She does a lot of the Yorkie's in town, last time Sophie Kate was in there she had appointments for 3 other Yorkie's that day.

| ![]() Harlie's ears were up at 9 weeks, totally flopped at 10 weeks and now back up at 11 weeks. I did a lot of research and it's obvious that teething is a big player. I took the advice of a breeder and it seems to work, well, for us anyway. She said forget taping, massage the ears from the base upward and give her a teaspoon of cottage cheese every day. She loves the cottage cheese and the massage for that matter and her ears are straight up and strong. She said the extra calcium is good for the puppies while they're developing. |

| ![]() My Chloes ears fell at 13 weeks old. Were like that for a week. Tried taping but she scratched till she got it out. Went to my sisters house for a 3 day visit. She has a 4 month yorkie and a 3 yr old chiwawa (?spelling). Anyways while playing with the other firkids her ears came up and have stayed up. Don't really know why, maybe the excitement. |

| ![]() You are all doing great to help me be encouraged. My little boy has his up and has held them up no issue since he was about 6/7 weeks old. His breeder kept me up to date with pictures. She also told me that he kept them up. My little girl did the whole gammit. One up one down; both down, both up. I finaly just decided that she is beautiful no matter how she hold her ears. Last night she decided to start the one up one down again. ![]() I will try the cottage cheese and massage though. Can't hurt. My husband says I over spoil them anyway. ![]() He actually told me that if there was any truth to reincarnation that he would want to come back as a puppy in our home. ![]()
