Ears Are Standing!!!!

Pixie is 2 years old and every so often one ear is down, but most of the time they are always up unless it is playing ball or where is my bunny. Her ears were standing up at about 16 weeks old. Didn't do anything special, they will come up naturally.

I took the advice of a breeder and it seems to work, well, for us anyway. She said forget taping, massage the ears from the base upward and give her a teaspoon of cottage cheese every day. She loves the cottage cheese and the massage for that matter and her ears are straight up and strong. She said the extra calcium is good for the puppies while they're developing.

Oh my..... well we tried the Cottage cheese mixed in their food and .... well I ended up having to completely seperate my 2. They were fighting to eat each others food. I have a 8mo Papillon who was starting to act like a picky eater. I put it in her food too. She LICKED the bowl.

Thank you so much for that suggestion. I have since found out that it is great for their coats too.

BTW, she does love the ear masages too and we have one ear that comes up about a third of the time. She is DEFINITELY in a teething stage though!!!
