| Advice needed to get Zoe to sleep in bed with us. I've tried to get Zoe to sleep in my bed but she'll have none of it. Once she's on the bed she will run around like crazy without even stopping to rest. All my other dogs took to the bed the same day they got home but Zoe likes sleeping in her crate in her x-pen. Any advice on how I can get her to want to sleep in bed?

| Lol its so hard to get a yorkie to do what YOU want them to do! Pnut use to looove sleeping with me when he was a pup, but now he loves his beds, cant get him to lay with me. I wish i had a magic way to get him to stay, but i dont ;/ Good luck!!

| all i ever had to do is bring any of mine to the bed and cuddle with. We both fell asleep fast. They do not even move... so much they enjoy my bed. XOXO

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | You could try waiting until she's very sleepy before you put her in. Rhett made the transition to the bed by coming in after his middle of the night pee run; he'd curl right up and sleep till morning. Now I can't get him off my pillow

| Of course you could always try the "reverse psychology", tell her she can't sleep in your bed, and she will probably then decide she will sleep in your bed (Reverse psychology used to work on my skin kids)

| Lol, Jackson went thru this phase, ya know what I did....? I put the dog bed ON my bed, hahaha. Embarrassing much? Well it worked. He now sleeps on my bed again every night w/o the dog bed.

| I have just the opposite problem. I can't keep Zach off my bed. I wish he would sleep in his playpen but when I put him in the playpen he screams. You have to understand I have 4 dogs and betwenn my housemate and me we have 15 cats. 5 of those cats sleep on my bed with me along with my Shorkie and Zach. I have a king size bed yet we all end up on my side of the bed the other bed is empty. |

| Telling Zoe she can't sleep on my bed won't work because she won't stay on it. She goes crazy and wants to jump off right after I put her on. But I might try putting her bed on my bed to see if that will work. If not, I guess I will just have to resign myself to the fact that I have a very independent little girl who only does 'her own thing'. LOL

| Why do you want her to sleep in your bed? If she is more comfortable in her own bed so be it. Maybe that's just my opinion but I like having my bed to myself (most of the time; have to deal with hubby coming home on weekends). Not even my skin kids slept in my bed. If Zoe wants to sleep with you she will be quite clear about that.

| Why don't you try giving her little tiny training treats when you put her up there with you. And then give them out every 20 or so minutes. Just give her that specific treat when she's on your bed. I find bribery is quite effective! I love Mabel sleeping in my bed! It's funny tho, she won't get in my bed until I turn off the light for the night. Before lights out she will sleep on a small ottoman in the bed room, then when I turn out the light she jumps off the ottoman and onto my bed to snuggle up next to me! She will stay there all night...she hardly even wiggles until morning! I just love her greasy little body next to me all night!
