Donating YT 500 Club Member | Just dropped my little girl for her spay:( I just got home from the vet office after leaving my little one for her spay! I am so nervous! I cried all the way home from the vet office. This is the first time I have been home with out her here and it is so strange! I have my phone glued to my side and they said they would call me the minute she was done! I will be so glad when this is over! |

| I understand how you feel, I just made an appointment for mine to get spayed next wednesday, they called and rescheduled it though. It's going to be so weird without her here terrorizing the house |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I was the same way with Joey, and it's easier on boys. I pray everything goes well, and she recovers quickly. Sometimes we have to make hard choices to protect our loved ones, but the decision you are making is protecting her future. Females can get pregnant their entire lives and I've read of so many who had an older dog who got pregnant for the first time at age 5, which is dangerous for the first pregnancy. All it takes is a visiting male puppy, and they can tie before you know it. So best of luck, and try to have a good day!

| Sending great big speedy recovery hugs to your baby. I learned that when she comes home not to pick her up under her arms because then her little belly stretches. Kind of do the butt scoop with one hand under her chest and one hand under her butt. Good luck hope all goes well for your girlie. I know the horrible feeling that you get when you have to leave them. Hate it Hate it!!!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | My little girl is home and resting. I just gave her some more pain medication so she could rest comfortably tonight. Along with the spay she had to have 8 puppy teeth extracted so I am sure she is in pain. Poor thing I decided to make her something to eat that would be easier for her little mouth and just boiled some chicken and rice and of course she loves it! (And she is drinking her Evian)... such a SPOILED girl! I actually thought when I was going to have to restrict her from activity because when I saw her she went bananas! She was soooooo Happy to see me! It brought tears to my eyes! And the minute we got in the car and on our way home she acts like she has definantely had a HARD day! She won't let anyone else hold her and is glued to my side. I can't believe the bond you can have with these little furbabys it is sooooo intense! Lots of kisses and spoiling tonight! Thanks for all the prayers for a swift recovery! |

Great!! Glad to hear she is ok. I spoiled Pnut ROTTEN when he came home from his neuter. He ate bolied chicken and rice and drank a little Pedalyght. He took it pretty hard, he is a little sensitve!! Make sure you dont let her jump and run Limit her activites for a week, give her time to heal and spoil her rotten and she will do fine!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Had to laugh when you wrote that she drinks Evian, she is spoiled! I'm so glad she's doing well, and good for you for remembering to have the baby teeth pulled. I'm sure she'll be herself in a few days.
