I've spent hours flagging ads on Cragislist, with so many on there it could be a full-time job!

I also flag posts on there admonishing people to get their pets altered, or answering some of the sicker ads, also for the animal shelters. I was told for those types of posts, if you flag "Best of Craigslist" it takes other flaggers more attempts to get that post removed. Don't know if it's true or not but am hoping if it is, at least a few people will get to read the posts before they are removed.

I've seriously been considering it, but I just don't know what to say. Any ideas? Or would you be up to calling her, Jen? I don't mind calling if I know what to say/ask, but you might be better at it than I would.

I'm thinking it was fake, there is no way someone would be that stupid. Maybe she posted that add hoping to run up someone else's phone bill? Possibly an angry teenager?

If the situation is that urgent, maybe they should be called rather than depending on an email. It might be better if jencar is the one who calls since she personally spoke with the people.

You all.....she is doing nothing illegal that I'm aware of, so I don't think ASPCA or even county animal control could do anything to her.

The only way I see of getting this yorkie out of the loop, unfortunately will be to pay for her. The "owner" isn't about to surrender her....after all, this yorkie is going to pay for getting her daughter a bird!

That stinks. I didn't think the ASPCA would get involved without evidence of abuse or neglect (which this case is IMO).

I called ASPCA and the director is supposed to call me back. The person I spoke to, didn't think anything could be done but is checking with the director.

She told me the only thing they might be able to "get' them on, is not having a breeders license. But, I think this owner is out of the city limits, so I don't think that law applies to her. Also, I 'm sure the ladies defense would be that this was an accidental breeding and she is not a breeder.

This woman is definitely out of Tulsa city limits....she's in a small town about 40 minutes south of Tulsa. These smaller towns are pretty lenient when it comes to animals and what their owners can do with them.
