Donating YT 500 Club Member | Anyone have a Harness they like? So I am having an issue with Taycie's Harness, while we are out walking sometimes she runs and pull on her leash and she acts like harness is making her choke.. and I don't want her to do this because I am worried about collapsed trachea! So anyone found a harness that they loved? I am not sure if its not fitting her properly so I am wondering if that is causing the problem.. I know its not to tight but I have never found one that I loved..Any great finds? Last edited by LuvTaycieGirl; 08-21-2010 at 08:32 PM. |

| Sorry you are having problems with your harness! I use this leather step-in harness and LOVE it! It slides on around their legs and chest, doesn't touch their neck at all. Mine do great with it and it is even gentle on the hair too! This is the skull one. Step in harness with crystal skull slider - Step-In Harnesses And this is the bone one, if you aren't into skulls.Step in harness with crystal bone slider - Step-In Harnesses Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns that I can help you with!

| Lil Pals Hi, I have a harness that works great with Kelsey. Its by Lil Pals and I purchased it at Superpetz but they also sell them at Petco. Its a step in harness with two D rings to fasten the leash onto. It works good and was only 7.99. |

| I have harnesses made by Chattiesmom she is a member here. Her harnesses are great and really easy on the hair. They do not touch the throat at all, they are step in harnesses as well. You can pick the colors you want, and the workmanship is awesome. I highly recommend them. |

| ChokeFree Sizes By Breed I had the same problem with Max. I find that this harness sits low enough that it doesn't bother his airway while walking. It's a little more expensive that what you may find at the pet store, but well worth the money.

| Miloh wears the Cesar Millan harness (purchased at PetCo) & I have no problems to report. They're a big pricy ($15) but very gentle on him. It's almost as he's not wearing a harness. Last edited by e_gar; 08-22-2010 at 05:52 AM. |

| I'm going to order one from Chattiesmom as soon as we get situated in our new home. Lucy has a harness now that has a reflective quality to it ~ BUT all of the harnesses so far seem to tangle her hair. We don't need any more mats!

| We have two that I love. One is a reflective step-in harness, the other is a Bessie and Barnie mesh harness. I love the step-in because it doesn't go around Levi's neck. The mesh harness does, but it is soft and he doesn't act like he has problems with it being around his neck!

| I found the choke free step-in harness. It is more expensive but it works great. I looked at the pictures and I have the gold colored one for Zoey. She HATED the over the head harnesses and it was a battle getting her into one. Cherie |

| I've been using the Buddy Belt harnesses as well. I love them. Mica is a real puller and this has helped tremendously breaking her of this habit. I agree they are pricey but are made so well I doubt I'd ever need to replace the ones I've bought. |
