| Hair Ties Um, do you guys use "rubber" band hair ties or do you use something wrapped w/ cloth? Bc the rubber bands I use seem to pull his hair out!

| Happy's hair is way to short to try anything yet but my mom uses both on her yorkies. She did however let me in on a little trick about using the rubber ones. Buy some TiGi Bedhead....most walmarts carry this line. Put a dab on your thumb and finger and run the rubber band through it. It won't make it slick enough to come out but will help prevent breakage and make them easier to come out. I thought maybe she was crazy until my girlfriend who is a hairdresser said she does the same thing if she is doing an updo that requires a pony tail so that her clients dont complain about taking it out later on. Makes it much easier on the hair for human/animal! Hope this helps!

| No it's a brand for humans! Should be around where you find hairspray and stuff. Also some salons carry it as well. You could probably check there. It's like a pomade. Really handy and it will last you a while!

| I tried the human tiny rubber bands and they pulled out Cricket's hair. My groomer told me to go on ebay and buy the tiny latex kind. I got the very small ones that orthodontists use on braces. They work really well. |

| I use latex grooming bands that I buy from Petegde. They are small and seem to work better than anythign else I have tried. I HATE the "ouchless" hairbands that you can buy at walmart or similar places. I cant use them and I am pretty sure I was hurting Chloe just trying to use them which means they arent "ouchless"

| One of my customers buys her orthodontic elastics here for her dogs: http://www.jawproducts.com/privpatients.html I've never bought from them myself. Anyone else? They seem to be reasonably priced but not sure how much their s/h is.
