| So, my friends will think I'm crazy! Ok years ago I bought Penni (my first Yorkie) a dehydrator for her birthday, I used it just to make jerky treats for her. When she went to the Rainbow Bridge in 1998 I put the dehydrator up. It has sat on top of the big freezer in the garage since then. Or it used to. I gave it away early this year as it was still in good working order and I had a friend who was looking for one. Now, I decided Beamer and Lil Bit need home made jerky treats so I just ordered a new dehydrator. I know it will only be used for doggie treats and my friends will think me crazy again, buying a dehydrator just for the Yorkies. Now I have to find all the jerky recipes!!!

| Doesn't sound crazy to me, just good common sense, after all you only want the best for the best, right. No problem with that, as it should be. |

| Well, I think you should offer a batch for sell or donate a batch here and there and your friends will think you're brilliant!

| I would have no problem giving some of the jerky treats as gifts to friends. Not going to be in the selling business though - I leave that to the more qualified.

| maybe we should form a "crazy" club I just said to my husband this morning I wish we hadn't given the dehydrator away. Next thing I am online and ordering one, with one day delivery to get it faster! (Bought it at Walmart, but it wasn't available in the stores, only online).

| I am so glad I am not the only crazy one on YT. Now I have to search for the dehydrator recipes. I know I used to mix buffalo meat (we don't use hamburger meat or regular ground beef) with a little soy sauce and I don't remember what else. had a "jerky gun" I used to make strips with and used to push the meat through that onto the dehydrator trays.

| I think it's better you dry the treats other than some company, and it's cheaper too. I also dehydrate veggies and fruits.
