Ok years ago I bought Penni (my first Yorkie) a dehydrator for her birthday, I used it just to make jerky treats for her. When she went to the Rainbow Bridge in 1998 I put the dehydrator up. It has sat on top of the big freezer in the garage since then. Or it used to. I gave it away early this year as it was still in good working order and I had a friend who was looking for one.

Now, I decided Beamer and Lil Bit need home made jerky treats so I just ordered a new dehydrator. I know it will only be used for doggie treats and my friends will think me crazy again, buying a dehydrator just for the Yorkies.

Now I have to find all the jerky recipes!!!
