You've had to endure something that no reputable breeder would ever put a new puppy owner through. I'm sorry that this has happened to you. But, your little girl is lucky to be out of that breeder's hands and in your arms.

Okay... where did you get her from?
I brought Poppy home a few days before she would turn 6 weeks old, I was told she would be 8 weeks on the date I could bring her home then later found out she was younger.
I was worried too.. she was so small she could fit in the palm of my hand!
The breeder we got her from was a friend but I didnt want to give her back because I was worried about how the breeder would care for her.
I kept Poppy and took her to the vets ASAP for a check up.
Poppy ate well.. I gave her winalot puppy (before I switched to Wainwrights) and Puppy milk from Morrisons. She LOVED the puppy milk and would drink it all, but she didnt touch her food much until I took the milk off her so I guess it was quite filling for her.
The vet told me I shouldnt be giving her puppy milk because she was already weaned and just to give her water which is what I have done ever since.
Just keep an eye on her.. make sure she is never alone for long because she is so small and keep an eye on her weight.
She will be due her first worming at 6 weeks and you will have to book her in for her first needle between 6-8 weeks old. (Poppy had hers at 8 weeks)
Stay calm.. to be honest Its best that shes with you then a breeder who would give her away so young.
You have everything you need.
Which vet are you using? I use Strachan Tyson and Hamilton.. they have a few branches and I find them fantastic. They really care about the pet and NOT the money.
Also can you PM me the breeder names of her parents and grandparents because the little star thing sounds VERY similar to my Poppy's.. Im sure one was little star something and the other little mischeif something or other...
Oh and yes that was me and my BF in Pets at Home with Poppy yesterday
PM me if you need to talk more.

EDIT: Ignore the little star things I read your posts wrong

Thanks Rachel.

Poppy went to the vets today, i took her to another vets in my area as i did not like the way the other vets handled things yesterday and i felt very let down by them. So me and Poppy turned up at another good vets at 8.30am this morning and they where fully booked but after i told them everything the head nurse took me and poppy into a room to look over her and so Poppy could see the vet... they were lovely!

Poppy was checked over very thoroughly and i'm happy to say she is a HEALTHY puppy. I explained about how she was not eating and drinking and they gave me some special puppy food to try her with. She was very alert in the vets office and the vet came to check her over and said the same as the head nurse that Poppy was a very healthy little puppy, I was sooo happy!!

He was quite worried that she wasnt eating and told me to go back in a weeks time for another check up. But apart from that she is spot on. I know how much she should be eating per day now so i know to keep my eye on it. He cliped the ends off poppys claws because she couldnt walk on my carpet without her getting stuck. Now she can run around fine

When i brought her home she was running (well running as fast as she could for her) around my livingroom playing and wagging her tail. I put down some of the food the vets gave me and SHE ATE IT ALL!!! Ok it was just tablespoon full but she ate it So i put her milk out and she had a little drink of that too How clever is my little girl hehe!!!!

I feel soooo happy today! She is happy, healthy, feed and watered there is nothing i could want more. The vets also gave me some worming paste to give to her in a few days time. Oh and they weighed her and she weighed 1lb

Rachel i thought it was you at Pets at Home yesterday with your little Poppy but i looked such a mess i didnt want you seeing me looking like a state haha! I had just jumped in the car and drove to get a nursing bottle for my Poppy as i was so worried she wasnt eating. I did see your little Poppy tho she is so dam CUTE!!!

Thank you everyone for all the help the last few days xxxxx

Glad to hear she is doing well I know how scary it can be as I was in the same position myself.
Personally I think they they try and get rid of the pups before they have to pay for their first shot....
Anyway glad she is eating now I know what you mean about the nails, Poppy used to hop around my carpet like tigger LOL.
Does she weigh 1 pound? Thats a good weight if she does for her age.. Poppy weighed in at around 1 pound 3 oz at 10 weeks
How big is she compared to your hand? she looks bigger in her pics then my Poppy did and she sounds a really healthy weight.
Is she sleeping well at night?

I think my breeders just wanted rid ASAP to get the £500 for her. Which is a shame because i paid a little extra for her than some adverts i had seen because i wanted to go with a breeder who knew what they where doing. Yeah she weighs 1lb what a little fatty she is hehe!! No the nights aint good but its only been 2 nights shes been here. She cries around 1pm and then has the odd whimper between times and then she cries again around 4pm. I am sure the more she settles in she will be ok.

Haha yeah Poppy was hoping around my livingroom before too, so i am glad she has had her nails cut She is sleeping at the moment, she is such a llittle cutie xxx

Its a shame things turned out the way they did.. especially when you paid £500 for her, thats a lot for a yorkie here and you would expect a little more from the breeder.. unfortunatley thats not always the case though.
She sounds like a really healthy weight
Poppy was like that for the first few nights too.. she would go to sleep around 9/10pm, wake up crying about 1am, then again about 3am then again around 6am for her breakfast.
Now she is much better and she will sleep all the way through the night without a peep.. only time she cries is when I wake up and I go to change her water but thats just because she wants out of her pen
Does she sleep in your bedroom?

Yeah she sleep next to my bed in her play pen lol. If she cries i put my hand down in to her xpen and talk to her. I am going to try and stop that a little tonight tho so she knows she cant just cry and get me to comfort her, she needs to learn she can be by herself during the night. I am sure she will be ok. I go back to work on wednesday, how was your Poppy when you first went back to work? xxx

I know your not suposed to give them attention when they cry in the night but I couldnt help it, her crying just broke my heart and I had to cuddle her.
Im lucky that she dosnt cry for attention now though and she sleeps really well.
She was fine when I first went back to work, she will cry when I first leave for a little bit but it dosnt last long and she just goes to sleep.
I dont start work till 11am though and I still live with my parents who work different shifts so Poppy is never alone for longer then 3 hours at a time

Yeah i work from 9 - 5 i work 2mins away from where a live so i leave the house at like 3mins to 9 haha. I will be home on my lunch hour 12 -1 and then my OH is on his lunch 1-2 as he works 2mins away also. So Poppy will never be left alone for no longer than 3 hours. PLus she would only be left like this 4days a week as i am off weekends and my OH is off a day during the week so i think she will be ok . xxx

You need to get a car...... take the puppy back to the breeder...... and demand a full cash refund immediately or you will file a complaint with the local authorities that this breeder is not following proper rules in regard to age of puppies he/she is selling.....

You will have nothing but trouble with this puppy being sold at this age.

Of course you won't do this.............. you'll just complain when you have excessive vet bills.

Now tell me, could you take a pup back to a breeder once you've had it in your home? You've already fallen in love with it. Amazing that you would even suggest this. However, I do agree that the breeder should be reported.

Furbutt has not complained, only asked assistance in keeping this pup alive.

You don't know if this pup will continue to have problems.......

Whoever this John Stetling is doesn't need to give advise like that. Beamer, RachaelX and other are giving great advice to Natasha. I'm no expert, but the advise that they are giving is alot more helpful than yours. Read all of the posting before you comment.

Natasha, I'm so happy that your Poppy is going alot better and that the Vet has confirm things for you. You are a GREAT MOM and Poppy is doing wonderful.

Pixie sends puppy licks and myself hugs.
