No Longer a Member | Possible New Puppy Well keep your fingers crossed, someone is re-homing an English Bully and I offered to adopt him, only 300 Euro's! She posted that he was vet checked and healthy, already recieved his shots and is going in for his final booster today. Just waiting for her phone call...of course if Rizzo doesn't like him I can always find a home for him with someone else, I know lots of people that love the little bullys. But I think he'll like to have a puppy to keep him company during the day, hopefully the little chubby guy will be able to keep up with Rizzo's energy, lol. |

| How old is your new adoptee? I hope they get along great but it may take a little time~ depends on the temprament of both. It took Ringo a good month to settle down with Lucy; but he was 4 years old and used to being the dominant mad of the house. She had such a sweet and docile personality (mostly) that it has worked out. She just pesters him until he plays with her!

No Longer a Member | Rizzo is about 7.5 months old now and the new pup is 3.5 months old, so 2 puppies should get along well enough, but I'm going to do a site visit first just to be sure, if they don't get along I guess I'll just have to let him find a more appropriate home. |

| Site visit is a great idea. Sounds like you have a good plan.

No Longer a Member | Well, just got off the phone, she found a home for him already...oh well I think I'd rather have another yorkie (biewer for sure) anyway. But I do love the bullies, they are adorable and I thought it might be a good match. Oh well, not meant to be :P |

| Bummer. But, you are right ~ it was not meant to be and perhaps for a reason. Now - on to your search for the perfect yorkie or Biewer Companion!

No Longer a Member | Lol, indeed, I would love a Biewer but the initial price of them is crazy at least the ones I've checked out. Who knows, maybe when the right one comes along the price will be right. Not sure I can justify spending 2500 right off the bat for a new puppy, especially since they go in for vet visits once a month (well Rizzo has, just because he was my first toy breed so I wanted to be sure that he was healthy) plus neuter/spay, it would be at least 5-6k just in the first year, I've done some adding up, already with the purchase price of Rizzo I've spent about 3k...I'm not sure if that is even including all the clothes, food, treats, grooming visits, though I am trying to learn the whole grooming game, at least for use on my pup only so he keeps going through strange hair days, lol. And we haven't even made it to the first year yet, he doesn't turn 1 until December :P I'm glad I'm not married, it'd be hard to justify all these expenses to a DH, don't know how you married ladies do it, lol! |
