Now I see why you're having such a hard time looking for a good breeder. There are no listed YTCA breeders near you. Hmm.... Have you tried contacting the nearest YTCA breeder to you? I think not all breeders are listed in the referral page, and YTCA members network, often encountering other breeders at shows and having friends that also share their passion in other parts of the US. They might know someone, or refer you to someone who might know someone. It's a long shot, but it could work.

I also like Ladymom advise against getting a pup online.unless you are going to meet up in person and make sure to see where/how the puppy is living and get a look at the parents so you know what they will look like..or atleast have an idea..

Wow yeah I talked to her(julie) and everything she seemed really nice.Are you thinking she is a puppymill?I am so glad I waited and not just jumped and bought the parti pup.I think emmie is adorable but more important I want a HEALTHY dog.She made it sound like she was just so in love with yorkies.I really am shocked and feel decived. I am so glad and thankful for this forum.I mean could these be her friends dogs she is selling?Ok looked some of them do say they are her friends dogs.Her site does say you are welcome to her house anytime.Still weird.

She seemed to know her stuff but wow.I would have never guessed she was breeding other dogs.

I second the previous poster who said ask breeders on the YTCA list and see if they know of anyone near you. That's what happened with our baby. We found a breeder we liked, but she didn't have any puppies and wouldn't until this August. When I told her what I was looking for, she said one of her friends was a breeder and might have what I wanted. I called her up and she did. We have been so happy with our little girl. And best of all, she was from a reputable breeder. I highly recommend going to the place, seeing the parents, asking questions, and really seeing the place they came from. That alone speaks measures!!

This throws up too many red flags for me. I wouldn't know how to begin to keep track of that many dogs. What kind of gurantee does she have? Has she done all the health checks and can she prove it with documentation? Is there a contract she wants you to sign? If so, do you know what it entails? I am not saying she isn't reputable, because I do not know her. If she is reputable, she will be willing to stand behind her puppies.

If it were my decision, I would look else where. I know you said that some of those dogs she is advertising are some of her friends dogs. That to me sounds suspicious. How many friends does she have that have all come to same decision to sell their dogs.

They look adorable, and it is very easy to become consumed with those little cute faces. Just remember that you want a healthy, happy, puppy and all the research you are doing now will help you get a Yorkie that will love and be with you for years to come.

I wish you the best of luck in finding your new furbaby. I am sure you will find the perfect baby, because you are using your head and doing research.

Thank You.I trust your guys opinion on this breeder.I do want someone that is close to my area that I can actually see the puppy and look at it and see the breeder & how she is with the dogs.The little parti is cute love her little eyes.In the long run I would have a hard time buying a dog sight unseen.

Wow that sounds just terrible. I can't stand when I read things like that. " Great Deal".. I can't stand when people use that wording when selling dogs. The price might be a great deal but what about later? what happens to that great deal, that great deal gets really expensive and isn't such a good deal any more
