| 4lbs... ...at 16 weeks. Think he's gonna be big? His parents are both 7lbs. Everyone thinks he's full grown when they see him, but he still has a lot of growing left to do (they grow until they're a year old, right?). I personally don't care how big he gets.... he's healthy and happy and that's all that matters to me. I just can't wait to see how he looks fulls grown, with his adult coat and everything. |

| You never know with Yorkies. My Beau is 7 months and 8 lbs...both of his parents were under 7 lbs. I'm very thankful since he is so rowdy....and I don't have to worry about little bitty bones so much :-) |

Take it from me, I am fostering a 1 yr old & 9 pound Yorkie, TeddyBoo who suffered a fractured knee & hip to the same rear leg and ended up losing it leaving him with his new title...TripodTeddyBoo.

As for when he will be full grown, that again depends on a lot of factors and family history. Some slow down around a year, others not until 2. Others have periods of growth spurts interspersed with plateaus. I'm personally partial to the bigger guys myself

Jackson was 6lbs at 12 weeks, 8.6lbs at 16 weeks, 12lbs until he was 1 year old, and now (he'll be 2 in October) he's 15lbs.

| Sophie Kate was 3 lbs at 16 weeks when I got her, she is now 2 years old and weights in a whooping 8lbs. She is very "sturdy" but as I am reminded often by her Vet she is still a small dog and needs all the attention and care required for a small dog.
