| My husband bought me my first Yorkie. Buster would not leave my side. He thought if he bought a girl Yorkie she would bond with him and he would have his own Yorkie. She does spend more time with him than Buster, but they are both mine. But, you can get another one and see if you will have one to yourself. If not, get another one. You can never have too many.

| LOL, thanks for posting this. Am not sure if I should show this to my hubby though cause he would nothing love more than to get a Harley besides his Yamaha 1100 V-Star. He actually offered to buy me a motorcycle but in the end I chose to get Merlin instead! However, I would not have returned the leather halter top ...Maybe you can convince your wife to go riding with you and Macy?

| My husband gave me my first yorkie for Christmas one year. The next year I snuck home a rescue and would now like a third. He isn't going for it and I have even talked about fostering but he is not agreeing. Do you think you could come here and teach him to ride a Harley so I can bargain with him?

| If it was up to my DH we'd have more then the 3 we do. Maybe I should ask for a Harley the next time he brings up getting #4. ![]() Our kids go on DH's bike with us. Maybe this is something ya'll can do together. We have carrier's that they safely clip into. They wear Doggles and I've found helmets online that I'm considering getting. Here is a photo of Boo and Gracie Ruth on the day of her first ride. We had them in the carrier together just for the photo. G was too small at the time for her Doggles, but has since grown into them. I need to get pictures of all of us together on the bike.

| I love this thread... I've also realized that based on the fact that my Boyfriend bought me Harley (the dog, not a bike) for Christmas/Anniversary/B-day with no bargaining or convincing needed, that maybe he's a keeper (ok I kind of already knew that... but it's an added bonus right)... :P He thinks I'm nutts for being on this forum as much as I am... but we love doing the training and walking stuff together. You should get another one for you! We are going to get another once we graduate and have the money to support 2.

| Hello there, Macy's Mom's husband! I too, am the husband of a yorkie mom. There is a line out of one of the Star Trek movies; Resistance is Futile! Become one with the yorkie. Once that happens all prior pride you had will evaporate. I am now "A dog person". Sad and pathetic, isn't it? Actually, I'm quite happy with my dogginess. Our little Bella is quite the little parasite; she has wormed her way deep into my heart. All is well in our little world; it shall be so for you too, my brother! Bella's daddy. |

| Being in the garage can increase the noise level. Try it outside. Start with it turned off and hold her on it until she seems relaxed. Also, you can put a little cotton in her ears to help muffle the noise. And treats always work for mine to help them accept something new. Good luck!
