| I have several gates in my home. I'm just using a child gate that is about 3 ft high to block difference areas of the house. Even thou Pixie is almost 2 years old. I still don't let her roam the whole house. When we are home no gates are up. As for being an outside dog...NO WAY!! To many things can happen to them. They only why to have them outside is in a inclosed pen. The gate that I use is by First Year safety Gate. They have them at Target, Walmart etc.

| I have a gate for Cooper. It fits very securely in a doorway and I use it when I have people come to the house and I have to keep him in one room. I used it this morning when I had some windows installed. It's a little over 2 feet high. Cooper is 9.5 pounds and could not even attempt to climb it.
