First off... I'm truly sorry for the loss of your dogs

It must have been completely devastating for you.

However, I'm glad you were able to find it in your heart to love another dog again.

Welcome to YT! I am new too, I just got a new yorkie puppy also, her name is Zoe. I have wanted one my whole life just like you! She is my first yorkie and I love her to pieces!

I am so sorry to hear about your other 2 dogs, I know exactly how your felt. My husband and I lost our first dog as a married couple (a bull terrier-Moose) when we went on vacation also. He got away from the sitter while we were in Hawaii and was also hit by a car.

We were just devastated as you and your daughter are. It is so weird that suck a freak accident happened to someone else. I just had to respond to your post because i have such a similar story.

That was almost 2 years ago, and time has helped me heal. I got another dog just like you did, not as a replacement for Moose but as an addition to our family. He definitely filled that awful silence and emptiness. His name is Bruce, he is a bull terrier (he is in my avatar picture behind Zoe). So I hope you can begin to heal with your new puppy. I am so extremely sorry that this happened to you.

Thank you. When you're so wrapped up in your own grief, it's hard to think that someone, ANYONE has ever experienced that type of freak loss. I'm sorry that happened to your dog too.

like someone here said to me, I'm glad you were able to love another dog again. In my case, I couldn't NOT love another dog again. I've always had pets and my world was just not right without one. I'm enjoying Brooklyn so much, I just wish my big fur babies were here to enjoy her too.

I hope you are like me and this little doll helps heal that piece of your heart that is so lost when you lose your fur kids. Mia has proven my heart can live on and I think Brooklyn will help you and your daughters carry on. Aren't they just a hoot??? And welcome to YT!
