| ATL too I live north of Atlanta and I & family members have seen 4-5 not far from our home. It is very much a typical suburban neighborhood. We also have to watch for the hawks, eagle & owls. We see them sitting on the fence wanting our pups to come out and "play" |

Coyotes are very adaptable animals and can live just about anywhere. I totally get what you are saying about not being able to get our dogs back into the house with a coyote nearby. These little ones are totally fearless!

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Dawn n Dusk said to be coyote hunting time.. but I have seen them out in broad daylight. Our largest closest park has coyote warnings posted. I live in the suburbs of a 5million ppl city. They go everywhere! I've used once to success the panic horn on my car to scare them away. I now never walk Razz in that park alone. I take my big boy Magic with me if we are going. Also the air horn great idea or a whistle around your neck. Walking stick is a good idea too, I always have that when we are hiking. So worrisome, also those dang raccoons. We have two that travel our back fence .. urhga
