| ![]() To get snipped (neutered). I've noticed a few aggressive behaviors I'm hoping we can nip in the bud by altering his hormone level. The vet seems confident that the neuter will take care of this. Funny thing, while he's displaying certain new behaviors, old one's have disappeared. Tensley no longer frantically paces or humps the cat. That's a good thing!

| ![]() My pup is almost 4 months and humps EVERYTHING in sight! Haha he even humped my arm when I bent down to pick him up! I'm looking forward to getting him neutered when he's older because he nips a lot when he plays and I've been constantly working on his nibbling/biting issues. I've associated that with teething but his nips are really starting to hurt! I wonder if that is one of the behaviors your vet is referring to being able to change?

You puppy is still a baby and yes he is teething. If he bites at your hands inappropriately once again redirect his attention to a chew toy to help with teething. How old was he when you got him? Sometimes when they leave their mother and litter mates too early they will have inappropriate behaviors. Neutering will not help with biting associated with teething.
