| Callie ALWAYS has a collar on so she will have her id tag on but hers are always thin, soft, and pink or with some pink on it . I wouldnt imagine a stiff thick collar would be really comfy.

| I like to change collars on Neo and Connor , so I went to Michael's and bought lobster claw trigger snaps and small split rings. Now I'm able to change collars and put on their tags with no hassle! |

| I am so bad...when I buy a new collar for Fiona, she has to get a new matchng ID tag to go with the new collar! She has so many, it's pathetic, but I love it! She has a new pink and yellow hibiscus flower collar now, with a cute purple ID tag, the one I just took off of her was a black and pink skull collar, with pink ID TAG! ha ha!

| Mine wear harnesses for walking. They wear collars 24/7 with ID and rabies tags. They are also microchipped. 2 tags eliminate the need for a bell, 'cuz they jingle on their own. The collars are fitted so well that the possibility of getting caught on something is pretty remote. And they want them put back on immediately after their bath. They love their collars.

| My two do not currently wear collars, only harnesses when out. However, after a few close calls where id tags helped Yorkies find their homes, I am getting them collars with new id tags. I live in a very rural area and I am not even sure our local vets scan for microchips, so I think id tags on collars are for us. |

| oh, and to answer your original question, they do have bling collars. My daughter bought them both beautiful rhinestone pink and white collars that will look great in a photo shoot. I haven't done it yet. I have put them on the girls, once in awhile, along with their permanent collars, never in place of. I just never want them without their tags, and I guess the bling collars seem too fragile and pretty to wear with tags one them.

| Mine wear collars with ID tags, yep. I have never had a problem with them getting caught, HOWEVER, if I leave my house I take everybody's off. When I get back I put them all back on. How anal is that? lol I guess I am just paranoid about something happening when I'm not around. They are also all chipped. I'm bad about collar buying too...I have WAY too many to count, and they are all cute!!! =) |

| I have question for experienced ladies here: My BF's sister has 3lb yorkie(tiny) and she walks him with collar and pulls on him to so called "train him" I got scared for the little one so Igot her harness with bling tag, but she doesn't use it saying it is unnecessary. I tried to explain to her that pulling her dog with collar on is very dangerous, but she laughed it off and said that she never heard that from "dog whisperer" She even got into couple of fights with people who worried about the dog being pulled by his collar on the street. What can I do to convince her to change her mind?

| I think I would get them microchipped regardless of how remotely you live, you just never know what could happen where your baby could get away from you. I had SophieKate microchipped when I got her spayed, it was not overly expensive, I think it was $25.00 and that included the lifetime registry of information.

I did gave her info on small dog's trachea, but it didn't help. She got upset at me and told me not to tell her how to raise her dog... she even switched her dog food from addiction(dehydrated raw food) which I got her to mighty dog saying that dogs will be dogs and they eat off the floor, so there's no need to feed them quality food! Some people can get very defensive when they are told or even advised about what they do. I really want to help the little one, but how?

| I believe I was reading a thread on here about someone who's baby is dying because of collapsed trachea and another who lost her baby to collapsed trachea. You could show her those articles. But then again if her attitude to a 3lb bundle of fluff is dogs will be dogs, then she doesn't have the furbaby mommy gene. She is a dog owner only. These are two different things. Cesar Milan does do the tug, but I've never seen him do it to a tiny. He would not knowingly jeopardize the physical health of dog. You can get the same effect by distracting a dog on a halter. So sad. Ever kidnapped a dog???

| Yeah, maggie wears a normal one 24/7. It's fits enough for me to put a finger under it, so I know she wont get stuck, and I'm pretty much with her all the time anyways, she needs to get used to it so it's not a struggle when I take it off for baths, and have to put it back on |
