| Harness question Do you leave your harness on your pup all day? I have this for Roxie: Puppy Harnesses- Dog Walking Harness, Step In Dog Harness, Dog Car Harness, Gentle Leader Dog Harnes Would it be terrible if I put it on her in the morning and left it on until I put her to bed at night? Is there something detrimental that I am missing about such a plan? Sorry if this sounds incredibly dumb, but any advice is welcome!

| It might rub against her skin and make some sores, this is what happened to my dad's jack russell, but she didn't have as much hair as a yorkie. |

| the other thing I would worry about is that she might get caught up on something. I have left harness on mine for a short while at a time if I needed to run out quickly after a walk as I usually walk them after I get back since they get so excited and jump around so much.

| I only put Callie's harness on when we are going to have to use the leash like when we go some where. If we go on a trip out of town and are staying at a hotel she wears her harness a lot more like most of the day because my parents will take her out with them when they go out for a smoke break and its just easer to put the leash on and go. My mom used to keep harness on her dogs all the time but we started to see where it would rub them raw under there arms so she only put them on when they went for walks and the vet. Callie has the buddy belt harness and even though its soft I really see no need in having it on her all day sense we have a fenced in back yard with a doggy door and she wears a collar with her tags on it. If you have to take them out every potty break on the leash I could see where leaving the harness on all day would be necessary especially when potty training a puppy and sometimes having to do the quick dash outside because they act like they are seconds away from using the potty on the floor.

| Sometimes she can be a bit uncooperative about putting it on. She does a little dance...one foot in, one foot out, one foot in, one foot out...well, you get the idea. Just didn't know if it would just be easier to leave it on.

| No harm in asking right? It's very cute by the way. I love the flower detail. I would be concerned about the shape of the harness and where it falls on the body. So far, the only harness that doesn't rub Kaji's armpits (we've had that problem before with most all harnesses) is one a friend made for him while he was in her care. I think it's the shape of it as it falls differently than the others we've tried. Since I have dealt with lots of skin irritation, redness, and really bad matting, I wouldn't leave it on all day. I have left it on if I know we're going out again soon after we come in. Or when he's outside running around with his friends.

| I leave Pixie's on all the time. We don't have a fenced in yard and it is easier to leave it on all the time. It don't mat her hair at all. She doesn't seem to mind that it is on. A matter of fact when I take it off to give her a bath she is looking at me as to why is it coming off.

| Hehe yes pics to come!! Although I must say, even the XS I ordered looks like its going to be too big for him. Sigh....I can't wait til he's a bit bigger although I absolutely love his little size now! I'm enjoying this puppy phase with or without little outfits!!

| I leave Sasha's harness on all day and take it off at night. The only reason I leave it on is because if I'm gone at work, then my parents are watching her. My dad isn't the most trustworthy person (i.e. - he has never really had a dog before, isn't "quick" if there was an emergency situation and I don't like some of the things he does so I yell at him constantly) and they had an issue before where he took her out to potty and somehow she got out of her collar and ran across the street barking at people. Thankfully my neighbor came outside and Sasha loves her so she ran back across the street and jumped in her arms. Since then, I leave a harness on her all day and I know there's no way she can get out of it. |
