| I wish I could have said something...... I work for a vet's office as a receptionist as most of you know. There was a lady who came in who had lost their older yellow Lab. To heal her pain she instantly wanted another yellow lab puppy. She talked to our vet and he recommended our other vet's new labs for sale. Instead she went onto www.purebredbreeders.com They flew her a puppy and for the last two weeks she has been in about every other day for worms, fleas, and now kennel cough. I wish so much I was legally allowed to say something, but i'm not allowed to comment on those type of situations due to the nature of my job. It's so hard watching this happen because I could have told her that this pup would be bad off. Just look at the website. It screams puppy brokers. and another site i saw on her paperwork was www.buypuppiesdirect.com How awful huhh?? Breaks my heart for this woman who has been through enough and then this happens to her and she could have been warned. I am getting a little bit upset that things like this happen with the vet's office just turning their heads, but maybe he told her so and she didn't listen..who knows. |

| Did the vet say anything? I mean, he gave her a recommendation for a local breeder who happens to be a vet (unless I read wrong) and still she went online. If I was the vet I would have given her a piece of my mind.

Maybe things like this happen for good reasons. Some people are actually at their very best when they have someone or something that needs them so badly. I'm sure she is tightly bonding with her baby while going thru so much with him. Lets just pray the puppy leads a long life after all the problems are delt with.
