Only problem is, her male is fixed, lol, mine is not... YIKES!! They were only together about 5 hours as i asked her to keep Monster indoors, but obviously he was very eager to get out there and play with Melody..so has anyone ever heard of this?? im kinda ignorant of a lil dog with a big dog.. any info is welcomed!! |

| ![]() Why would it not be possible? Intact male in heat female=size is not an issue. When did this happen and what are the owners of the female boxer going to do now? Are they planning on spaying her? Oh man ![]()

| ![]() Never heard of it happening, but it is possible. Luckily, the boxer was the female, because if it was the other way around it could be bad for the little yorkie to have big pups. But with the Boxer being female, there shouldn't be a problem... Except little puppies running around! ![]()

| ![]() well i wasnt really sure, which is why i asked. Anyway we dont know for sure that they mated. It was about 3 weeks ago when i left him there. They are not sure if she is pregnant and i dont know if they plan to spay her, i can only speak for my dog. What i will say is IF there are puppies, they WILL have a home right here, I have almost 3 acres of land that is prime for them to live and i would NEVER be irresponsible and dump them somewhere at some shelter where they wont get adopted. so between the two of us we would just work it out.. And plan for a much safer future.. |

| ![]() I guess this is a lesson learned for not only the OP but for anyone reading this thread. An intact male will go after any female in heat. Size does not matter to a boy with rushing hormones.

| ![]() Acreage has nothing to do with proper care of a possible litter equal the size of 2-10 puppies. My question to you is can afford to feed, vet & care for a possible increase of your pet population? I couldn't.
